I truly truly love this bed, however was disappointed as once we put our mattres and pillows on, we noticed the beautiful headboard pretty much disappears. On second look at the photos we realize the mattress used is quite thin and only one set of flat pillows. Ultimately our mistake as we bought our (thicker) mattress first.
To get the complete look you need a thinner mattress and only one pair of flat pillows. All said, still really love the style and have found the workaround so it still looks good!
