This is a great bed that fits extremely well with other walnut furniture I have in my bedroom. Based on the pictures online I was able to accurately tell what shades of walnut I would need to match. My one gripe is that there is a tiny gash on the top of the foot of the bed that is noticeable. I’ll try filling this in with some wood putty and call it good but I’m withholding a star for that.

The 6 chairs are comfortable and most importantly they have a smooth swivel. That said though, I have two comments. One, I’m about 5’1” and my feet don’t reach the floor when I’m sitting in the chair. I’m making due however because our table has “spider” legs so i can reach those when I need to swivel. Secondly, the color is not Onyx. It looks more like dark chocolate brown. I am going to order 2 more chairs as the table we ordered almost a year ago is finally coming in and will accommodate 8. Even though I wanted the chairs to be black, I’m hoping the 2 additional chairs that I’m ordering will also be the dark chocolate brown so they will match. Would have given them 5 stars were it not for the height and color.

The finish on the table is exceptional! The grain of the wood is also beautifully organized. The only issue is that the base interferes somewhat with the chair directly above as its closeness can cause legroom problems. Also, the chairs have lovely curvilinear lines. A factor for tall people is that the seat of the chair could be longer for more comfort.

The bed look exactly like it’s displayed. But the wood is peeling after a couple weeks. I have kids and they walk around the edges on the wood. It’d peeled. Other than I’m satisfied with the purchase.

The bed is nice but the headboard is too small. Once you put your mattress on the bed frame you have less headboard showing and so the feel of the picture is not the feel you actually get. Also, there is a lot of extra room around the mattress and so you can see the wood frame on the sides of your bed even with fluffy bedding.
