Verified reviewThe process was very thorough, but some steps were repetitive and made the experience very lengthy. After speaking with the first person , the second person went ove the same information in detail and so did the compliance person. Then we were sent forms to sign with the same nformation we just verified. This is not a mortgage application but it felt like it. I believe one person interview would have been sufficient then move on to signing the documents. Now I have to print a the power of attorney form, have it notatized and send back. Now sure what others thought but for me it was quite a lengthy process.

I encourage you to contact our office to discuss any frustrations you may have so that we can resolve them to the best of our ability and to your satisfaction. You mention that in 4 months, only one of your accounts has been paid. This is the normal process when negotiating settlements with your creditors. That is why, during the Welcome Call we have with clients, we make sure to mention that the first settlement takes 4-6 months to achieve. Then, only after that settlement is made and paid using the funds in your Special Purpose Account. Then it will take, on average, another 4-6 months to reach the next settlement with your creditors. I cannot speak to the specifics of your file, but I can say that, YES, until a settlement is reached with each individual creditor, interest, fees, and penalties can still accrue. This is another normal aspect of asking Mediator Law Group to help negotiate debts. This is also covered in both the Welcome Call and the Agreement. Once again, I invite you to contact your Customer Service Team to discuss what you should expect as we go down this journey together as a Team.
