This is stylish and functional, with a low profile on the counter. For the record, I don't have their knives but I needed a knife rack and wanted to save space. Before I had a magnetic bar on the wall of the kitchen but I am now in a rental house where I can't drill into the tile backsplash. This was an elegant solution that did not take nearly as much room on the counter as a traditional knife block and is holding my Shun nakiri, shun chef knife, and Japanese style bread knife, as well as two paring knives and a very long, knife for slicing fish. I do utilize both sides to fit all my knives and even the longer knives are fully protected on the block. An ideal solution. The walnut is beautiful.

This knife stand is so sleek and simple but it serves a real purpose. I had my knives in a canister before and this not only looks better, but it’s much more functional, accessible and probably safer. It’s so well made. What a beautiful piece. Highly recommend!

We are obsessed with these! They look so sleek, cut with such ease, and they are TRULY dishwasher safe. We have been looking for years for knives that wouldn't rust in the dishwasher (even if they said dishwasher safe), and we finally found them. Definitely coming back to Material for other cutlery needs in the future!
