Better than plastic! Finally I cannot even count the number of cutting boards I have cycled through over the years. Plastic was the first to go for the obvious reason—microplastics. A beautiful wooden one came next, but no matter how much I scrubbed, I never felt it was truly clean. Then I tried metal. It looked chic, yes, but the grating sound of a knife against steel made it unbearable. I even bought more wood, this time bamboo, each promising to be different, yet none delivered. Then I discovered the Material Kitchen MK Free Board. Made from a plant-based biocomposite of natural clay minerals. It looks and feels like plastic but is entirely free of permanent microplastics. It is non-toxic, eco-friendly, and dishwasher-safe. When I saw it, I ordered three in white on the spot. After weeks of daily use, they have proven perfect. They hold up beautifully, clean easily, and most importantly, they are made from plants and minerals, not plastic. Proof that eco can be elegant, the MK Free Board marries design, performance, and sustainability. Fingers crossed the only cutting boards I will ever buy in the future will be more of these

Love this board. The textured surface feels so safe and helps me chop faster. And I love that it doesn't have persistent microplastics but still goes in the dishwasher. Totally replaced all of my cutting boards with this one.

Love the idea of not having to worry about bits of plastic getting into my food. It’s lightweight & easy to clean. I wish you had a mini version!

Love these glasses so dang much!!! Please place a small drainage hole at the foot so I don’t need to dump the water out when I remove from dishwasher. It is just annoying because they are so beautiful and warm out of a wash cycle and then splash …water runs all down the glass.

We have 3 reBoards & 3 mini reBoards & I’ve also given as gifts. We were happy to see one with grooves came out for juices that go everywhere. All our boards have a lot of knife marks. I was initially concerned about that but remembered the boards are plant based with no micro plastics so that makes me feel better! I’m about to order 3 of this one with grooves for Christmas gifts.

I’ll be honest, it took some trial and error getting the is to work in my kitchen - I didnt love it until I moved a few things around on the counter and also traded out my cream Wustof knives for black. It’s a little bit of a statement piece in that it doesn’t blend in automatically. I’m glad I kept trying bc I really do love it now.

I have been using the free board for just over two weeks and love it! I never post reviews and I usually don’t care about kitchen equipment, but this cutting board is awesome. It doesn’t slide around, it is really easy to clean and is thin enough to actually fit in cabinet.
