I love the quality and utility of these tools. All the tools are solid and dense. I’ve had them for about a month, and based on the quality, I’m confident we will have them for a long time. I have the almost black knife set, a wooden spoon, 3 tongs and 2 spatula’s. We have very hard water in our area, so the almost black was not the best choice as the handles show hard water stains. Also, I’d prefer if the tools were not sold in sets of 3. It’s a very good option, but not ideal. I bought these quality tools as we have limited storage space (no counter space), I’m trying to be intentional about the few pieces we have. The tongs do triple duty, I use them to sauté, boil pasta, roast veggies, and then serve! I highly recommend these tools!

The Fundamental set looks beautiful in my kitchen. Each piece is well crafted and has a very nice weight to it. I have received many compliments on the set. I can’t wait to purchase more kitchen utensils from Material Kitchen!

We love the fundamentals set so much that we purchased them for our friends. We do have an abundance of spatulas etc that at we've accumulated and I wasnt sure if the set would truly replace our old stuff, but it has!! E truly reach for them time and time again. The great surprise has been how much we use the paring knife and the fish turner. Highly recommend the set and would love to gift it to more friends!!

I am an avid at home cook and very particular that my "tools" are functional but also good quality and beautiful. I've collected various pieces through the years, but I saw this and decided to treat myself to a matching set. I am thrilled. Each piece is beautifully crafted and the knives rival any I've owned. Love it so much I gifted a set to my best friend who is also a cook and my niece who recently moved into a new home.
