Beautiful and Functional

I bought the chef's knife and paring knife along with the sharpener. So far they're both handling great and have nice sharp blades. If the sharpener keeps them this way, they'll be my favorite knives for sure!

We purchase the 3-knife set and the knife stand in walnut, and the entire set looks beautiful and cuts beautifully. The stand is magnetized on both sides which helpfully stores our existing knives as well as the great new material knives. I did manage to cut myself already so sharp are these knives, but we've prepared some great dishes too.

I just redid my kitchen and when I saw this beautiful set of utensils I knew I had to buy it. I love that I could pick my colors for the knife handles and the container

it is a beautiful board I will not have a chance to use it though I have limited space and the I am in a wheelchair so it's a little too heavy for me if it was smaller I could use it but I love your products and I have your knife set I will probably get another one in the futur I definitely would have kept it if it was a smaller board

Aside from being visually stunning, I love my material kitchen utensils and knives. The stand is super cool and very functional. I give material as gifts all the time!

I went from 42 knives to six; three old favorites and the set from Material. Also emptied two drawer (well over 60 random handled items) and now just have the tools contained in The Iconics set. I gave away a 26-piece set of Wustof Classics which are great knives, but I didn't need all that. The build quality of each Material piece is second to none. I especially appreciate the care and construction of the wood products. Besides The Iconics, I bought The Stand and the Angled Board all in Walnut and can't say enough about how nice it is to actually hold a piece of wood that is uncompromising in construction. As well produced as the pictures are on the web site, they simply don't do justice, and with the 60-day return policy there's no risk. I am guessing their return rate has to be close to zero. Packaging is clever and exudes the sublime pleasure of less being more. Everything arrived in one day and in perfect condition. I would strongly recommend getting some Material into your kitchen, if nothing else I can't see products of this quality staying at such a competitive price for long.

I'm torn between using these and looking at them. They really complete the kitchen's minimalist look and more importantly they are functional.

I love my new knives! They are the perfect addition to my kitchen and I've gotten rid of all the other knives that I had. I only need the trio!
