I've had the cutting board for several weeks and use it often. Putting it on a towel as recommended works wonderfully. The board stays in place no matter what I'm chopping. So far no scratches of any kind. My only disappointment is that it's too big for my dishwasher. It's easy to clean in the sink, but sometimes I want the extra hot water and double wash that the dishwasher provides. Fortunately, this is not my only cutting board but it is certainly my favorite.

I love The Fundamentals! The chef knife cuts through salami like butter, and chopping onions was a breeze. I loved the handle of the wooden spoon too, I just used it to sauté bell peppers and onions, and to finish up some boiling lentils. I recommended Material Kitchen to my parents, they’ll be buying The Iconics soon. I also can’t wait to buy the wooden cutting board, I love the way it looks!

This is my first "adult" knife purchase...aka not a five dollar knife from bed bath and beyond (not knocking those, just trying to paint a picture) and it has made a world of difference! I enjoy cooking so much more! Frankly, I was using kitchen sheers to cut most things, as my knife was too dull be effective. Having a sharp, durable knife has been a real game changer!

I had high hopes when purchasing this board due to my resistance to manmade cutting surfaces—I prefer wood. My limited experience with manmade ones are the open cuts that show on the board when used. I had hoped this would not be the case with Material. But, to my disappointment, cuts did appear. In any case, I will use my wood board and wash and oil as needed. Material B as useful 2nd.

I finally threw out my old kitchen tools and am in love with the wood spoon, spatula and metal spoon. The designs are so high end and the quality is superb! They make me want to cook so much more!

I love this product! It looks sooo nice in our kitchen and keeps my two most used knives at arms reach which is great for how often I cook. People have complimented it when visiting our house and i can’t help but gush about how much I like it.
The quality is great, super sturdy, and the wood is beautiful.
