My only wish is that one side had a "gutter" around the perimeter to catch juices that exude from food for example when cutting tomatoes.

Our first purchase was the walnut Fundamentals set and are really impressed with the quality and appearance. Our follow-up purchase was a walnut cutting board, and also the sand color reBoard and they’re super great too! All in all we’re happy customers and highly recommend Material products.

This is a beautiful pan that performs exactly the way a stainless pan should. The 12” is my favorite for braising Bc the extra handle makes it so easy to move from stove to oven. Excellent heat conducting means beautiful searing.

The coated pan is my new go-to for perfect omelettes and crepes! It’s a workhorse on a Sunday morning and my kids love watching eggs slide around the pan. And I just love how gorgeous that dark green coating is. It can sit out on the stove and my kitchen doesn’t look cluttered. Love it!!!

I purchased to replace a non-stick pan that was ineffective. This pan is brilliant! I now use it instead of my regular stainless and my carbon steel. First of all, it's gorgeous looking, second of all, its non-stick properties are the best I've ever used, and thirdly, I am aware that heat is indeed distributed more evenly for better simmers. Notably, I made TJ's cauliflower gnocchi, which is notorisously sticky, and it came out perfectly. I'm grateful for the excellent craftsmanship of this pan, and look forward to purchasing additional products from Material.

I purchased the coated pan a month ago because of it's claim to last up to 37x longer than ceramic pans and because of the copper core. I have been using the pan for frittata and have used it about 5 times. It has worked great but it is too early to tell if it will live up to the claim. I hope it does.
