These scissors I purchased from Material glide through anything like butter. I bought them for cutting food. But I find myself using them for other things too. Besides the comfort and ease of use, they're easy to clean and versatile in function.

Only complaint is the hidden mechanism in the tongs. Overly complicated. Everything else is great quality so far. Knives especially.

These are the best kitchen shears I have ever used. So sharp and so easy to clean. I am buying them for all my friends for Christmas gifts this year!

Okay for quick use but not for long term use

These are better than Joyce Chen or Cutco scissors which cost $70. A good pair of scissors is the most important utensil in a kitchen. I'm giving them as gifts to my friends who have everything.

Have been looking for a magnetic knife stand for ages! Could only find those that had to be screwed into wall. This is perfect!!

The first thing you notice is the heft: They remind one of cast iron. Construction is first rate and they sit flat-no wobble. This is my first serious 5 ply cookware and with the copper sandwiched by the 2 layers of stainless, they heat up quickly and evenly. I never need to go higher than half on my burner and I get great and even heat. I've done only the basics in them for now: bacon and eggs, chicken prosciutto, etc but I'm spoiled and hate using anything else. The coated pan is a dream come true: great even heating and pain free clean up. The sauté pan has me looking up all the one pan recipes I can find. With it's high walls and lid it's like a mini oven. I've yet to use the sauce pan but I see myself making some béchamel sauce for my next food fix: croque madame. You can make anything with this 3 piece cookware set. I just may get another coated pan as I hate cleaning my Cuisinart pan and it just doesn't heat up like the coated pan. In fact, these coated pans would make a great gift on their own.
