I am extremely happy with my purchase from Material. Not only is the reBoard incredibly attractive with a beautiful and modern design (the coral color compliments my kitchen perfectly), but knowing that it is sourced responsibly makes the purchase even more satisfying. Thank you for making such a great product!

Obsessed with everything in this set, most notably, the knives. I forgot what a difference a good knife can make until I got these. Customer service is also unbeatable, one of my knives got a small chip a few weeks into use and they sent a brand new replacement no questions asked.

This knife is consistently razor sharp and super versatile. I was pleasantly astonished as this knife could cleanly slice tomatoes, chop onions, cut up carrots, bone a chicken, and create thin ribbons of basil!

When I first used this pan, I think I got chills! The descriptions are true to their word - it’s as non-stick as it gets and it is such a beautiful piece. Totally worth the money.

Beautiful and elegant design. I love the little spout - it’s a helpful detail that I haven’t found in any pots until this one. Truly a work of art.

Customer review

I ordered the trio of knives, as well as the shears and stand. At this price point, Material's knives are a good value, and certainly aesthetically superior. The build and materials fall between the expensive end of mass-produced, and the low end of premium-quality knives. If you're used to the substantial hand feel of great-quality knives, the light weight may be disappointing, but I can see where, for some, this is an advantage. It seems a lot of the reviews are a result of finally having a sharp knife, rather than detailing the build quality and details, which, with this sort of investment, are worth exploring. Finish-wise, real life does not exactly align with the beautiful photos on the site. The handle is very attractive, but upon close inspection, a little rough around the edges. My 8" knife arrived with several, not-so-superficial scratches on the broad side of the blade. The shears are the best I've ever used, versatile, sharp, and very well designed; however, when stored on the stand, as photographed on the site, when used regularly (I'm two weeks in), they leave serious digs in the wood. This is not something I care too much about, nor do I have a suggestion as to how it could be avoided, but the stand will not stay picture perfect for long, something I imagine most won't mind. All around a really beautiful collection of knives, from a smart brand that is definitely changing the game. There are so many stylish kitchen brands coming out of the gate right now, some forgoing quality in favor of aesthetics, and others concentrating on the user's needs, a balance Material seems to be working toward.
