Love the way it looks and the way it cooks!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this coated pan for, well, everything! But it's definitely my go-to pan for searing — fish, meat, tofu, anything. There's nothing like fresh fish or steak seared over high, high heat so you get the outside nicely browned or crispy while the inside remains tender. And the copper interior ensures an even temperature. Like many home cooks, I have lots of Le Creuset pots and All-Clad. And of course, an iron skillet. But I really needed a non-stick pan. And with kids, it was especially important to have one that is Teflon-free and free of other chemicals — like PTFEs, PFOS and PFAS found in Teflon. You can't use high heat with Le Creuset. In fact, the manufacturer specifically says to use medium heat and that high heat will damage the enamel. Like many people, I tried ceramic pans as an alternative to Teflon, but as everyone knows, the nonstick surface just doesn't last. By the way, this nonstick pan makes a fabulous gift! I just sent one to a friend for his birthday. He used to be a chef at Zuni Cafe in San Francisco (and always has at least a half dozen Teflon pans). He's fallen in love with the Material Kitchen pan too! I use my Material Kitchen's nonstick pan every day — usually several times a day. My one criticism is that there's only one size, and it's not very large. I'm looking forward to the day when they come up with a larger version. I’ll be all over that! Will Oakland, CA

I love my new pan. First off it’s beautiful, but I love the way it feels in my hands. Cooks evenly, heats up quickly and has just outperformed most of my other cooking equipment. Took a little while to be shipped but other than that it is more than what I expected. Thank you!

bought my wife this set on the tester program. as soon as it came out of the box, the quality was evident. one cooked meal using the whole set later, my wife was sold! we love our new cookware. would recommend again!

The stand is pretty

Perfect size and love the fact that it is from recycled materials. It’s my go to board now. Not too big, but enough space to get the job done.
