So While these are plastic I like the look of the knives. They cut through a cooked potato or a ripe tomato alright. I’m not sure what kind of metal is being used so hopefully they don’t dull too bad. On the other hand they kind of struggle to cut meat like steak or a pork chop. I cook things medium, and often medium rare. They were fine at first but after 5-10 uses I’m finding these to be pretty lackluster. The knife stand is not a knife block unfortunately. It’s just a hallow shell of bamboo with no weight to it so that kinda stinks. For something like $80 (got a coupon) I guess it’s reasonable but I’m the only meat eater in my house so I’d kinda give up 2-3 knives and the block for one or two really solid knives at that price.

That evil empire here in Seattle (starts with Am... :-)) has spoiled me and half the world with regard to shipping. So the peelers (two of them) took longer than I am used to but NO LONGER than I should have expected. They work. Well. I am happy.

Love these boards. The only reason it’s 4/5 for me is that the production process left clear marks on the side of my boards; would expect this to be more refined on a board in this price category

Whenever I have to replace something I will always look for eco-friendly options first. These cutting boards were highly reviewed on several websites so I took a chance and ordered their 3-pack bundle. I’m very pleased with the quality and durability of them and love the rich colors as well. I plan to purchase the bowls in the near future. I also think these cutting boards would make a great housewarming or Christmas gift.
