Each knife is ideal for what it is designed to do because each one is properly sized, weighted and balanced. In action, they are effective and at rest they are beautiful.
The only negative was my fault: When I bought the knives, I cheaped out and did not buy the Stand. After using the knives once, I knew I had to have the stand because it makes the knives so accessible and so easy to appreciate their beauty.

This is the perfect cutting board for me. Color matches my kitchen. Very sturdy, handles knives well. Right heft when picking it up and using it. Very happy with purchase. Also gave one as gift and they like it as well.

I worked in professional kitchens in my youth for over a decade and have been cooking ever since. I have several knives and I think these will be among my favorite day to day tools. The chef knife is well balanced and a bit thinner than a big chunky pro use knife, making it more accessible and comfortable in the hand. Perfect balance. I love the bread knife and the paring knife is just right for all the smaller tasks. Overall fit and finish of the set is great. All knives were razor sharp out of the box as well. I would highly recommend this set for any home cook.
