As a mom, I was super excited to purchase this board when it was released. Finding a non-plastic, no wood cutting board is the final frontier of making sure my kids have safe, as micro-plastic-free food as possible. As a former line-cook, I was even happier when I received the board and started using it. It’s durable, the size is perfect, and it feels fantastic to cut on with your knives. Food is sliced easily down to the board without slipping around. My husband, who never wants to buy anything new, used the board once and actually noticed how much better it was than our other boards. He said we should replace all our old boards with the MK Free ones… so we did! We now own every color! Love them!!!

I read about these when they first came out and decided to order one. I love the thinness of it but the sturdiness of it and the size. I have had many of plastic boards and they chip away and you just know you’re ingesting, micro plastics and the cutting boards are just a lot of work constantly trying to keep them up. These boards are great. I actually ordered three more after I got the first one.

I just got it Saturday. It made my day. Sharp easy cutting. No plastic going into the food, my children, my brain. What an innovation. I'm buying three more. Two for me. One for cutting. One for dishwasher. One for spare. One for a gift for my best friend. Go Material Kitchen. Can't wait for a small size also.

This board is so crisp and so easy. The grooves around the board make anything juicy or crumby easier because it doesn’t make a mess on the counter. Best cutting board I’ve owned so far!

I have purchased four of these knives, one set for an in-law suit kitchen (in bone), a set for my parents (in blue), a set for a furnished rental (in almost black), and one in my trio set for my kitchen (in black), now I see the new mocha color and I want the trio set. After having owned Materials knives going on 5 years, they’re the best value for price knives on the market.
