Purchased three bowls which one had a small chip at the bottom lip of the bowl. I tried reaching out both via phone message and via email to Material Kitchen at least a couple weeks ago and yet to receive any kind of response. Leaving this review in hopes someone will contact me to resolve my issue.

The "coral" board seems more of an unattractive burnt orange. Both my wife and I were very disappointed upon opening the box, and would return it if it weren't such a hassle. It's currently tucked behind our attractive wooden board so it won't be visible. We definitely won't be buying any more, and hopefully this review saves someone else the trouble.

The quality does NOT match the price or the hype. They're sharp, I'll give them that, but the fit and finish are the pits. The set and block were a gift for my husband, and he couldn't be bothered with an online return, but I wouldn't have kept them, if it was just me. Do not recommend.

The first pan I got was quickly scratched by my teen when cooking eggs. I contacted Material and they immediately sent a replacement. Unfortunately the new one showed signs of wear after a few months using silicone utensils. It cooks great but this won’t last long. I can’t recommend. I’m actually surprised at all the 5 star reviews.

The design is beautiful, it’s well made and works nicely. The problem is what they consider “gold” is nowhere near a gold color and appears more on the bronze scale. If you’re looking for a GOLD peeler this one isn’t it.

Good feel and shape but after a single use (making risotto) the wooden edge is already fraying and splintered. Maybe it won't get worse but unlikely. Such a shame.

I like them when in tongs mode. Unfortunately they lock up and only randomly unlock. They do not just unlock when aimed down and squeeze. Incredibly frustrating to try to use. I wish I had not bought them.
