The items are beautiful and very useful. I especially love the knives, which are sharp, figuratively and literally. The only issue I have is with the tongs, with which I've been having trouble - they seem to get stuck in the closed position - perhaps I am applying pressure in the wrong way.

The chef knife is the star of this set! It feels so nice in hand, cuts with precision, and allows for an easy rocking way of cutting. The magnet in the display box that holds the knives is such a delightful touch! The other items are good and expected, save the metal spoon whose ability to measure 1/4 cup accurately adds an unexpected useful touch. The only downsides are the height of the main container; it lives on my counter under the cupboards and it's a bit too tall (or they hang just a bit too low) to make pulling a utensil up and out easy. Of course, the knives slide out easily. The box is beautiful and looks stunning!
