Very sharp knife - hope I can keep them that sharp. Thinking about the knife sharpener.

I was impressed by the weight and balance of the pan and find the non-stick surface excellent! I like the green color as well...such a pleasant change from the usual black coating most other manufacturers use. I wish there was an 8" pan...I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I've been hunting and hunting and reading and reading all I possibly could searching for the best deal on the right pan that would become the cornerstone of my kitchen. After reading endless comparisons between the big name brands and agonizing over whether or not I really need copper core, to my shock and amazement I saw a writeup on Material on a blog I follow and jumped on it feeling that my prayers were answered. I could not have been more correct and I could not have made a better decision. The pan came quickly in some of the nicest packaging I've ever received and I just held it and stared at its beauty for what was probably 5 long minutes that my wife gave me a long bizarre look during from across the kitchen. Everything I've cooked on it so far has been perfect and I haven't had to shuffle everything around the pan endlessly to ensure that all parts of my dish are being given even heat. Life-changing for sure, and can't wait until I can afford a second one, then the non-stick version, and then whatever Material comes out with next. Consider me an evangelist now!

Overall what drew me in was the overall structure of the design, like a skyscraper...after reading that is had the magnets for the knives I decided to purchase and have no regrets. Well made, sturdy, beautiful natural wood grain is allowed to shine through as well. Well done

I am always looking to tweak the tools in my kitchen. The reBoard caught my attention and a few days later I was cutting onions and carrots on one. I could not be happier with my purchase. My chefs knife draws easily across the surface. Clean up is a breeze.
