I was looking for a modern knife that was also super sharp. This Material knife was it—the blade cuts through anything without applying much force, and the design is outstanding. Kudos to the Material team!

Clean lines and a powerful magnet combine to make a great looking, functional knife holder. It takes up much less space on the counter than my clunky old knife block and it also caused me to prune the knives I rarely use, now relegated to a drawer knife holder under The Stand. Left behind are my favorite blades, beautifully displayed and easily accessible.

Cooks so beautifully, I have yet to burn anything on it (and I’m a burner, ask my poor children). Cleanup is a joy and cooking is seemless, you can buy a less expensive pan but it will be a waste of money. Wish it also came in a smaller size.
