I first read about Material on The Kitchn and was excited to learn about a cutting board that was stylish, affordable and used recycled materials. My cutting board arrived in less than 3 business days, and has quickly become my favorite tool in the kitchen. The style and color make it great to leave out on the counter, the material is sturdy but lightweight. I love that it doesn't warp like the wooden cutting boards I've been using for years and I can use it for all kinds of food--veggies AND meats. It cleans up easily and the knife marks don't show because of the texture on the board. I just love it. Will absolutely purchase additional items and give as a gift because this thing is awesome!

These cutting boards are really phenomenal. They deliver exactly what is promised - nicely made, beautiful colors, and they do not leave stains or cut marks. Added bonus that they are repurposed and environmentally friendly.

i will admit that I scoped these out for a while before pulling the trigger. I have never bought cutting boards that cost more than $7-10, but I loved the idea behind them - environment-friendly and pretty colors. To top it off, the reviews about the cutting boards not holding onto smells finally convinced me. I love them! I know this is a very 36 year old statement but my cutting boards make me happy. Highly recommend.

I wanted a cutting board specifically for fruit in the morning and snacks in the afternoon, and this was it. It’s the perfect size (not too small - not too big), and it’s the cutest color. And I didn’t expect the knife to be so good! It fits into my kitchen so well - definitely plotting my next Material purchase.

I already have two reBoards, but with the launch of the mini sizes, I couldn't resist ordering them! I ordered another reBoard and two of the mini ones. The mini size is truly perfect for smaller chopping, dicing, and slicing projects. And easier to fit in the dishwasher! The new reBoard I got did curve and bend after the first wash in the dishwasher. It no longer sits flat on the counter-top. I was surprised as my original two didn't, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I'd really give it a 4.5 if I could.
