We started with the knives and quickly upgraded to the full utensil set...so naturally, cutting boards were next! First, the colors are gorgeous: very rich & deep. We got a large maize-colored one and a small deep blue (borderline purple) one. Besides looking great, they're very durable too with a nice weight & heft. We've put away our old miscellaneous collection of cutting boards for good, and our Material cutting boards are all we use now! Such a terrific find!

We got the black knife holder. It is simply one of the most stunning pieces of kitchen equipment I have EVER seen. So much so that we will purchase the black block to accompany it on our counters. And I have had 2 friends also purchase the knife holder based on my raving about it and them looking at mine. Don't hesitate to buy it!

The material knives are of excellent quality. Much to my surprise and delight, delivery time was supersonic and i received my knives within mere days of ordering.
I LOVE the quality of the steel of the blade. Beyond excellent. The handles are comfortable and very safe with a non~slip component to them.
Thank you for bringing such a quality knife to the marketplace and at the unbeatable and unbelievably low price point.
EXCELLENCE should be the name of the company rather than Material.

The boards stand up to my best Japanese knives. I do wish they were non-skid but I use a Silpat to remedy.

Loved the size and practical and yet sleek design of the stand.
I have a very small kitchen with limited counter space. I placed the stand right against the wall and store the knives between the stand and the wall for safety too. Almost invisible when they are stored. Only see the black side of the stand which blend in well with tea kettle and other utensils.
