  This is a legitimate business, although somewhat deceptive, with very poor service. I was fooled to believe that I was dealing directly with the government in trying to renew my passport. Unfortunately, it was a very slow process from start to finish which took me over two months to complete. As it turns out, the most efficient part of the process was after I submitted my renewal application to the government, because that part of the process took about ten days until I received my passport. The fact is that you absolutely don't need GOV to assist. Just go online and download the renewal application from the government's website. By doing it on your own, you will save significant time and money as follows: 1. GOV rejected my photos three different times even though they were better than the "professional" photos taken at a national pharmacy chain.2. GOV takes a minimum of two days to respond to a question via email. Normal response time is about a week. 3. Calling their support telephone line will involve speaking to someone with a very difficult to understand dialect. 4. GOV did not complete the application correctly so you will need to check very carefully and make sure to have some liquid paper in order to correct their errors. 5. Do it yourself and save $97 and save on a lot of aggravation and stress.

  We gave up when applying for a Passport submitted over 8 different passport photos tried to talk to anyone on the phone was impossible Back in January 2025 We were able to get my passport renewed by going to the Postoffice and got it in about 5 weeks faster that GOV PLUS The post office was much faster and was able to see a real person to make the transaction "Never Again would I recemented this company for any of there services. Now July We were charged a fee for a service which I had no clue Tried to call and respond by there Chat with zero response Next contacted American Express for a dispute on my credit card will need them to work on this issues since I was not able to I rate this company with a Minus 10 for there services

  It’s been 2 1/2 months, still haven’t received my passport renewal. Getting assistance has been the worst! No live person to talk with, only chat and the same repeated messages are sent for explanation. Better off going by your local county department for passport application renewal

  Their passport tool doesn’t work well. If you can’t take a selfie with one hand and your shoulders are out of perfect alignment as a result, the passport photo is rejected. They then add weeks to the timeline, which of course justifies their annoying up selling @ hundreds of dollars for extra services. Then they tell you to have what amounts to a professional photo taken, costing time and money. Meanwhile they automatically debit your charge card for more costs.

  DO NOT use gov to get a passport! My mom paid $200 and waited two months for a packet of papers to take to a legitimate passport processing center. In all the time she waited (for nothing) she could have had her passport in hand after doing it correctly. I can't speak to gov 's other services, but you cannot get a first-time passport online. You just can't. You must appear in person, and the application is free to print from the state department. Gov should not even offer this on their site, it's very misleading.

  This is the worst company ever. Please do not use them. I sent all my documents June 3rd to start my process of renewing my passport. It’s still hanging in the wings. It takes forever to get a real person and they were no help at all. My application still states waiting. Says one more day. Been saying that for almost a week.
