Verified reviewThe description and picture were of good quality which is essential when buying items that are not run-of-the-mill. The overall time it took to complete the sale was very quick and carried out without a hitch. Delcampe have a big act to follow but in a way they are more akin to the local collector and provide a service which is tailored to their needs. I have been on Delcampe and other sites for over 20 years. Delcampe is a more friendly site when it comes to costs. I find that some sites overcharge on postage which is a deterrent to purchase. I refuse to buy a low priced item only to be charged three times the amount for postage. Delcampe costs are well within expectations and always fair and reasonable. The platform fees are also reasonable which plays a big part in buying. The sellers make the platform for a good deal and if you attract the right sellers then the right buyers will find them.

Verified reviewThe order and the seller were fine. It is the ridiculously high Delcampe fees that make buying less expensive items impossible. In the past I used Delcampe almost exclusively for my purchases. Now I follow only 2 sellers and even then I rarely buy anything.

I know how it works and that is what my comment was about. There are so many email communications just for the smallest order. I had only just finished wading through a load of DelCampe communications making sure I had followed all the procedures when another one slips into my inbox asking what I thought about things. And so I answered, maybe you did not understand. As for CSTs and Help getting a good response applying directly to a problem my experience is extremely low. And a tiny box for "reply to this message" just about sums it up. I will think hard about using Delkcamps again as I feel I have been punished enough thank you.

Grouped lower offers are not available for items below 1 Euro. In other words, a stamp price of 0.30 becomes 0.60 with fees. Eliminating fees for very low cost items, say, up to 0.60 Euro, will help buyers and sellers and won't make a big dent in your profits.
