  One chandelier is broken (arm), it was improperly packaged. One has to be re- wired, as there is a plug at the top. The second doesn’t have a canopy. I’ve been trying to reach customer support for two days. I paid almost $2,000 for these chandeliers and can’t use them. Completely unsatisfactory

  More detailed pictures would be appreciated..there was a small piece of veneer missing that was not pictured as well as some warped veneer on the front drawer. Overall I am happy and these issues were not enough to have me return the piece.

  I love the item I purchased and the shopping experience on Charish. So why the 2 stars? My order showed pending shipment until after the shelf was delivered. By delivered I mean dropped on the sidewalk 20 minutes after the driver called me to say he was on the way. I just happened to be home when the call came in, but I was alone at the time. So where did that leave me? With a 6.5 foot tall box on the sidewalk outside my home and only me to get it into my house. I was OK with the $199 shipping fee, but what did I receive in exchange for the $91 "logistics" fee? The last time I checked on the meaning of logistics it had something to do with the detailed coordination of transporting items between people. Well, I wouldn't call what happened coordination on any level. I love how I received a notification a day after the shelf was left on the sidewalk about how the item had SHIPPED. Anyway, sorry about the rant but the delivery experience was awful.

  I was very disappointed with the piece. The color is much darker than I expected and therefore not a great fit. The piece also smells very musty and appears to have mildew issues on it. I am currently airing it out and hoping to be able to mitigate the mildew issue. The shipping was very costly and made the “deal” I got on the piece not worth it. At this point I am concerned about even keeping it in my house due to mildew/moldy smell. I think the lesson I have learned is to not buy antiques unless I can see them in person.

  We purchased two of the same fireplace tool sets - one from California and one from Florida. This set from Florida was not as advertised. The California set was exactly what was advertised. The Florida set looks like it came right from the fireplace to the box. Really worn and not in great shape. It came packed in a trash bag with individual parts in Aldi bags. The cost and time to return did not make economic sense.

  This was the second credenza I bought on Chairish. The first was damaged in delivery and the company didn't even bother bringing it out to me. This one took 3 months! to be delivered. I really resent paying $70 for logistics when I had to be the one to track it down and communicate with the delivery driver. Chairish never responded to my messages.

  The Thomas O'Brien for Hickory Chair armoire arrived in impeccable condition and is absolutely magnificent. Back in the late 1990s, I saw that very same armoire on the top floor of Macy's flagship store in San Francisco, and I fell in love with it. But the price was about $5,000, and I didn't think I should spend that much money on a single piece of furniture, no matter how eye catching it was. And now after over two decades this very special armoire has pride of place in my dining room. Everyone who sees it thinks it's gorgeous, and they can't believe I bought it for only $900 plus shipping.

  The seller told me before I purchased the item that I would receive it in 2-6 weeks. After the sale there was no communication from them whatsoever. They put a message on their page stating they were on vacation for the next month. I reached out to Chairish to inquire and they were not very helpful, although it may be that they could not get an answer from the seller either. All in all it took 2 moths to receive the item. I knew the buffet was not in perfect condition, although it is in a bit worse shape that I thought. The metal detail pieces fell off upon delivery, and the gold metal piece is bent at the bottom.It is a nice piece and will be gorgeous once I spend some time and money fixing it. I would not order from this seller again due to lack of communication.

  One of the worst purchasing experiences of all time. I purchased the dresser June 7. A shipper tried to deliver at 11pm some time in late August. Obviously, I refused to meet so late and my dresser was finally delivered October 11. I Wil never use Charish again.

  I was very disappointed in the condition of the lampshade! Either that wasn't well described or I missed it,. You did describe the flaws in the brass and I was prepared for that. But the shade, the star of the lamp design was a mess and bad enough that I considered returning the item. Instead I've spent another $80 to replace the shade and it will require that my husband do a lot of modifying to make it work. Lesson learned.

  These plates are a serious disappointment. The quality and definition of the images is terrible. The images on the listing look much better than the actual. The shipping was so high, as well, although the box it came in was sufficiently packed. I won't do business with this seller again, as I feel he left out important details about this particular product.

  Shipping cost and fees were high. The freight company ignored the times I was available to receive my item, causing me to scramble at the last minute and impose on other people to receive the delivery. The chair I received had more stains and scratches than expected. It does not appear to be unused as it was described. I appreciated that the seller accepted my offer, but ultimately, I still felt I overpaid for it.

  Repeated cancellations of scheduled deliveries. Waited at home for 24 hours. Updates from drivers only came after the window for delivery expired. I still don’t have the desk, but the system seems to believe it was delivered. Must be for sale on eBay?
