I purchased the sofa in Mountain Grey. While the sofa is comfortable to sit on, the fabric unfortunately feels like a Brillo pad. I guess that’s what I get for trying to get a durable fabric for kids and pets. But I’m hoping it softens somehow.

Looks great, have gotten lots of compliments. Just a couple things I wish were better: - there's only one hole for cables in the back, if you put any electronics in the closed compartments you can't plug them in - one of the front center doors is misaligned and rubs the wood when opening. I probably won't be able to use it since I can already see scuff marks forming. Would have hoped for better quality control for the price

My last review was replied to and deleted, and now I've had the sofa for about a month and am ready to update. Couch itself: 5 stars. Mustard fabric (and likely any of that style): 1 star if you have pets. Probably fine if not. The couch construction, comfort, and appearance are all wonderful. It's got an upright, supportive feel when sitting chair-style with feet down, and a very cozy relaxed feel when lounging on the chaise or along the seat. This makes it very versatile. Five people can reasonably fit, or two stretched out with room to spare. The seats are supportive and comfy. I love it! The fabric, though... the mustard fabric is a lovely color and a decently soft feel. However, it is very wrongly listed as pet-friendly. I understand that no fabric is going to hold up to a cat clawing at it. However, my cats don't do that. They jump on it, they walk on it, and lie on it. I clip their claws regularly. And it seems like the fabric just senses a cat nearby and starts popping threads out. And the area where the dog jumps up is completely worn out, scuffed up, and ratty looking. Just from the dog jumping up and lying down. This is after only a month. I'd expect this kind of wear after a couple of years with the level of pet activity going on. I really should have tested out the swatches more intensely before ordering, and I suggest that anyone does before ordering. It's a great couch, but put effort into the fabric choice!

Material- The velvet is nice and soft and silky feeling. There is no sheen and that is what I was looking for. If you do spill something on the material and clean it the area that you have cleaned becomes rough and does not bounce back...so it lacks that velvety feel after the area is cleaned (fortunately for me it was a very small spot on the arm). I did purchase the white couch...the colour naturally isn't good for, kids, pets or messy/clumsy folks. Construction: It is OK. There are a few puckers in the sewing in the bolster pillows, but if I turn them you can't tell. The back cushions after you sit on them (the sides) curl up towards/around your body, which is annoying. so I am constantly re-fluffing and turning the cushions over. Knowing what I know now...There is a part at the bottom of the back of the sofa where the fabric is too loose. I may not have purchased this couch, knowing what I know now. Comfort: The comfort level is perfect. It is not squishy or like you are sleeping on concrete...I have dozed off on the sofa several times. Customer Service: Was ok. There was moment where I could never actually speak to someone on the phone (constant calling and no one would answer the phone-during their operating hours). DO NOT use the chat service, they know nothing-absolutely nothing and are a little rude and short with you. Email may be your best bet. Delivery: Was perfect the two individuals called me in the window that I was to receive the couch. My sofa was well wrapped and the 2 delivery people took extra care in my home and of my brand new couch.

Got this from the outlet for a really good price. Really happy with the color and quality. The description clearly stated the condition as "brand new, customer cancellation (never reached customer)" which was confirmed to me when I spoke to Apt2B on the phone before placing the order. But when I received the love seat, there were stain marks on the seat cushions which were not easily cleanable (please see pictures). Now we are forced to use the cushion on the other side so that no one can see the stains. Customer service rep says there were no stains when they shipped it out from the warehouse and it must have happened during freight. I find that hard to believe since it came nicely wrapped in a cover (which was sealed). I was advised to use rubbing alcohol but that did not help. I did not bother contacting customer service again because I did not like the fact that they did not own up to the issue in the first place.

I like the look of my couch - it was as listed online, however after only a couple of months the fabric has started to pill and it gives it a dirty look. A little disappointed by this.

After some time and submitting proof (photos and video) of the faulty tufting on our sofa, customer service reached out with a solution to send us new cushion covers sans tufting. I was thrilled with that idea, it was a great compromise, and I had seen a picture of a Lexington sans tufting in a picture on the reviews. Anyway, when our replacements came they were not the same as the reviewer's picture, instead, they still have the seams as though there should be tufting but they forgot buttons. Anyone who would look at this would agree it looks odd and was an odd thing to send, but I guess it is better than the alternative - a sofa with sporadic buttons, some held on by original means and others by super glue. And the couch is more comfortable. The efforts by customer service are appreciated, though I wish they had considered the weird aesthetic these seamed, button-less covers would have. Oh well, lesson learned and maybe we can cover the sofa with enough throw pillows and blankets to distract from the weird seams.
