I did a lot of research before purchasing this, and so far I feel mixed. I had a tuxedo custom made for the dimensions of our room. The customer service team and the actual product delivery timeline and delivery was all excellent. I spoke to CS multiple times about fabric, as I was going from leather to upholstery with a dog and a child and was quite nervous. We chose the Mountain Grey woven fabric and it does not appear as dark all over the couch as it does on a small swatch. It has some pilling which is to be expected, we haven’t used a fabric shaver on it yet. Our golden retriever’s hair vacuums off easily and is difficult to see on the couch unless the sun is shining in the right way. My daughter fell asleep on the couch once and had a potty accident about a month after we received it. I was able to easily clean the cover in the washing machine. The fabric has been a good choice for our family. One thing I was very concerned about is durability of the cushions. I’ve had issues with a couch losing the “cush” of cushions very quickly after receiving it. I like to sit in the corner and the cushions in that corner are not easily rotated without looking aesthetically wonky. We’ve had our couch almost 2 years and I sit in that corner every single day, if I average it out, probably for an hour each day. I weigh about 210 and I’m happy to report that although the cushion in the area I sit the most has softened (as well as the area my husband sits), they are still plush and comfortable. The area we don’t sit on as much still has a slightly more firm feel. So I am very pleased with the durability of the seat cushions. It is a very comfortable couch. The negative for me is that about 5 months into receiving the couch, we began hearing loud cracking and creaking noises when sitting down, standing up, or shifting. We have had two different repair companies come out under warranty, and aside from adjusting the connecting pieces (which helped some), neither could pinpoint the source of the sound. This has worsened over time and I’m considering putting in another warranty claim. I’ve never had a coach make so much noise, and I’ve sat on some old couches. I will say one of the repair men who came out commented on how well made the couch seemed to be. He was surprised at the quality. Overall I’m fairly happy. I love the ease of customization, the speed of delivery, the comfort of the couch and durability of the fabric. I’m disappointed it began making noises less than a year into ownership. I’m not sure if I would order from Apt2B again.

Good quality construction and material, although the foam "upgrades" mattress is horrible. My long-term guest could not stand sleeping on it. No support at all. Should not be used as a solution for a sleeper sofa.

I ordered the apartment size Saxon sofa in June 2022. There weren't a ton of critical reviews when I made the purchase so perhaps the quality had changed, but after almost 2 years I have reservations that I can share. The cushions are a huge letdown. Other reviewers have commented that they pulled stuffing out of the back cushions, and I considered doing this, too. When I unzipped them, I discovered the problem might not be that they are overstuffed, just stuffed disproportionately. Loose fiber was packed haphazardly into upholstery base cloth, which made the middle of the cushion considerably thicker than the edges and corners. I took lots of time to distribute the stuffing more evenly, which did the trick, but not permanently as I still repeat the process often by laying the cushions flat on the floor and kneading them with my fists like a cat. The bench cushion was an even bigger disappointment but for the opposite reason. I'm not sure how that slightly mounded cushion look was accomplished in the marketing photos, but mine came with fabric that was loose no matter how much fluffing of the interior down liner I did. I flipped and fluffed the cushion often, and it'd be flat and saggy within a day or two. I ended up buying a quilted down mattress topper (twin size) to insert and give that more full look I had hoped for. That said, the legs are beautiful and the overall construction seems to be sound. I chose beige for the fabric, which is very soft. Spot cleaning on minor spills has been no problem, and the dirtiness from everyday use is easily lifted with deeper cleans. I have a small living room, so the apartment size is ideal and very easy to move on my own. Customer service was topnotch. There was a shipping issue (not Apt 2B's fault), and when I reached out for help, they were quickly in touch with the warehouse/delivery service and helped make things right. This really could be an affordable, 5 star option if the cushion issues are improved. I really want to love this sofa, but all the work it's taken to get it near what I expected is disappointing.

I purchased the sectional in 2020, I think it was delivered nov/dec 2020 and the couch has not lasted ! The cushions are not working/uncomfortable now and we are a family of 4, 2 kids and 2 adults (max 160 lbs). I loved the couch but the cushions are not long lasting! Unfortunately I wanted to support a local company , but it is not lasting!

It's big & beautiful but not very comfortable. I've had two issues with this sleeper sectional. Keep in mind that they may not have anyone near you to service your sofa. They have been very responsive but without a real solution besides hauling my sleeper sectional to a repair shop near me for an estimate. This thing is heavy & white velvet. There was some fabric puckering that they gave me a refund/discount because again, no one was available in my area to service it.

We’ve had our couch for about a year and a half. While it is perfect for the space and we adore the look, it has been a bit of a bummer. First, it arrived with yellow markings that they had forgotten to remove during manufacturing. Now, we have had 4 buttons come off in the last 8 months. We are about as gentle as you can be on furniture (including flipping the cushions that can be once a month), but the buttons are just not well attached at all. We frequently notice them flipping up/sideways from someone simply sitting on the couch. While another review said that the buttons have a lifetime warranty, support has told me they are not covered beyond the one year mark without the extended warranty purchase. Personally, for a couch of this price I don’t consider this acceptable as normal wear and tear, and we are pretty bummed that we need to either learn how to tuft them ourselves or budget to have this professionally done for the lifespan of this couch. If you’re considering it, I would consider the extended warranty a required add on cost.

I've had my saxton a little over 2 years now. I got the fabric thunder with the redish wood legs and really love the look. It's the perfect size for my apartment and a great light weight. If you live alone you can move it around solo no problem. It looks beautiful in my space, true to images online. I just personally don't like the cushions. It's not the most uncomfortable thing, but it sinks a little too much and doesn't quite feel like the kind of squishy down should feel like. Also the back cushions aren't quite the same. One is and has always been more squishy than the other, so there's somehow some unevenness in how the down is distributed I guess? Visually I'd give it 5 stars, even worn in I think it looks cute. But the comfort for me is off. I will say I find it comfortable to sleep on when my weight is distributed over larger surface area (115lbs), but while sitting there's too much give. A quick note that the sofa came with slight fabric damage to the velvet. It's a small section but I wasn't able to fix it. Customer service did give me a small discount for the damage though.

Fabric is excellent, the look and style is great. Unfortunately after about 1.5 years the foam has gotten way too soft so it squishes to almost nothing and the seat has sunken down quite a bit. These changes over a short amount of time are disappointing, it’s less comfortable and definitely not as sturdy as initially thought.

These look great, love the style and fabric. Here’s the “but”, they are lightweight. It feels fairly sturdy when 1 adult is sitting on it however, 2 or more and it begins to feel wobbly. Very disappointing for the amount of money spent. I don’t know that I would recommend this sofa to a friend or family member.

after the long ordeal of getting it, i’m in love with this couch. however, i’d be hesitant to order from this company again. i ordered the couch in evergreen velvet. it arrived bright pink. the moving company they contracted with instructed me to refuse the item, notating why on the form. so that’s what i did. customer service was at best very condescending while dealing with the situation, and in my least charitable estimation, just plain rude. over something that was not my fault! then they kindly gave me “free” white glove shipping. it was not free since i had paid for it. i responded stating that, and got a reply saying what they meant was i still would receive it. well, i would hope so since i paid for it. all in all, i love the couch. but it was a huge headache to deal with, and i feel like customer support could stand a little more training.
