The bookshelf feels like quality wood and is very steady post-assembly. Assembly was simple and took less than an hour. The shelves are pretty deep, so it's possible to add a few decorative items in front of the books. I have a pretty small apartment and this is a great size for the living room -- doesn't feel bulky thanks to the open sides.

Never bought a couch online before, but I trusted the reviews I read and I was so glad I did! I ordered free fabric samples ahead of time and was able to choose the most perfect color and texture for my living room space. This couch is lightweight with reversible cushions (will wear well over time). I bought the love seat to match the 3-seater sleeper sofa, and they look so great together. 11/10 recommend!

Ordered this and sofa in gray velvet last fall. Both have held up well, but the lounger looks significantly more worn, despite being used less. The long wide open end edge invites a lot of sitting there and it is showing some wear. I worry about the overall longevity, as this item doesn't seem as sturdy as the sofa. The frame squeaks a lot and I see slight sagging in the long lounger expanse. Overall, I'm happy, but don't buy this for super frequent use.

Ordered this and the matching chaise in gray velvet last fall. Both have held up well to the demands of a house with a small child and a cat. The cat's claws often leave tracks that appear to be permanent, but the strong suction from the housekeeping company's commercial grade vacuum always resolves the issue. The cushions are firm and so far, I haven't noted any wrinkling or sagging of the pillows/velvet. Pleased. I do have some concerns about how well the chaise itself will hold up--those concerns covered in a separate review

Got this in velvet one year ago. Cushion firmness is perfect and has remained dense, despite frequent use and a rambunctious child. Cleans up well from both spills and pet hair. No damage or scrapes from cat claws. Very happy with the purchase. Sturdy and appears it will last many more years.
