The bed is extremely well and very solid. It was also quick to assemble. The sides attached to the head and baseboards with metal hooks and the slats attached with 3 screws each. it took about 15 minutes for the delivery service to put it together. It comes with a lot of slats to hold the mattress -- important in a king-size bed. The bed is really very handsome. However, be advised that the finish is darker and less varied (and therefore more plain) than it appears in the on-line pictures. Being so big and dark, it really commands the room and needs extra space. The drawers are very spacious. Only one is needed to hold my extra sheets and bedding. I also bought the extra plush mattress from APT2B just to avoid the hassle of 2 separate deliveries. I'm very glad I did, the mattress is sublimely comfortable. APT2B's customer service was very professional. Initially the wrong dimensions were posted for the bed (they are correct now -- 79" x 94"). By the time I had the correct information their sale had finished but they still honored the sale price. The delivery went very smoothly. It took about 3 weeks to receive my purchase (in New York City).

I spent months researching mattresses before deciding to buy the Camel Plush Pillow Top along with my Shadow Hills Storage bed from APT2B. I am so glad I did. I can't rave enough about how comfortable it is. I hesitated before getting the extra plush version of this mattress but it was the right choice. Plenty of support topped by a profoundly cozy pillow top. I sleep like a baby.

Really scary ordering two sofas off the internet ... and customizing! We had some extra challenges with my tall husband (who wanted a little extra room), and our cat Max (who made mince-meat out of our last set). Worked with Alex who was very patient and sent us multiple swatches until we found one that we thought was beautiful and would pass our claw simulation test. Added 5 extra inches and asked to have piping/welting/cording removed. Couches arrived faster than it would have taken to get our damaged couches recovered ... about 6 weeks. They are beautiful and comfortable, and so far Max has not shown any interest in tearing them to shreds. (Fingers and claws crossed.) We could not be happier. Experience and results exceeded all our expectations and we're still in the "admiring-them-when-we-walk-into-the room" stage.
