I spent months looking for couches, going back and forth between several on this site. Eventually, I decided the Avalon was the best fit for our space. I ordered on Nov. 5 and it came in Nov. 23 (much faster than I expected!). I was worried about the delivery service because there were so many negative reviews, but the Dallas delivery hub got it to us within the promised window on the original delivery date. The delivery guys were very nice and had our couch unpacked and set up in less than 10 minutes. Overall, I don't think I could be happier with this couch. Finding a couch that was chemical-free and eco-friendly was important to me-- but hard to do on a budget!. Apt2b was really the only site that made it possible. I ordered fabric swatches several months ago and with the help of customer service, finally decided on Mountain Grey, which I absolutely love. I feel like I should mention... If you're like me, and you need to see more pictures of the fabrics you're interested in-- e-mail customer service. They were very patient and accommodating with all of my pictures/questions regarding fabric choices. Although I feel like I'm going to have to restuff the cushions in a couple of years, it's not a big enough problem to make me dock a star. Also, the sofa bed would probably benefit from a mattress pad, but again-- not an unfixable problem. For the price and all things considered, I don't think you can do better than Apt2b.

Well made and great quality!

This is by far the comfiest sofa I have ever owned, and I've had higher-end IKEA sofas as well as Ethan Allen ones. The Evergreen velvet is oh-so-soft (I take my socks off to luxuriate in the sofa) and have had some killer snuggles with my cats on this piece of furniture. Their little paws leave the cutest footprints in the velvet, but these disappear with a brush of the hand. The sleeper is super comfortable as well and while I was nervous about the metal cross bars (flashbacks to my parents' sleeper sofa) I honestly can't feel them through the memory foam. Which, BTW, barely smells at all--I have returned memory foam things because they were too stinky. My only "area for improvement" would be to make the ottoman capable of storage--is does make a nice place to set the extra pillows but it would be nice if you could keep extra bedding inside of it. Is it snuggle time yet? :)
