I had a big squishy leather couch, so when my Melrose arrived, i was a little disappointed in the firmness.
It is now breaking in a bit and suspect it will continue to do so.
The back pillows are very comfortable and do not slide, which is nice.
The color is a little muted but pretty(lavender velvet).
I love that I can change the chaise around.
My dogs have claimed the chaise portion as they love to lie near the edge next to my legs!!
It has a nice profile and my small living room looks so much larger

The craftsmanship of these side tables and respective Aiken bed are remarkable. Everyone loves these pieces and we are in the beginning stages of decorating around them!!
