I purchased this couch without letting myself consider it for a few days as I normally would. After couch shopping for several months and not finding anything that was quite right (so many couches are too soft!), when I saw the gorgeous wine colored velvet of this couch, read reviews that the cushions were fairly firm and the return policy is very generous, and knew it was on sale for Memorial day, I pulled the trigger. While waiting for it to arrive, I worried a lit bit if the color would be right (I didn't opt for a swatch 😬), if I'd find it comfortable, and if my cat would want to scratch it. As soon as it arrived, I knew it was PERFECT. The color is a deep, rich wine red-almost purple. The velvet is lovely and luxurious and my cat has no interest in even sitting on it, let alone scratching it, and the cushions are so comfortable!! It's the perfect mix of firm enough to give you support and soft enough to be comfortable. Highly recommend!

The texture of the "Straw " fabric is versatile and classy. We've only had our Lafayette sofa for a couple of months but it seems to be sturdy. We have a colorful area rug that blends well with the neutral palette. This sofa is comfortable as well as easy to move. We Love it!

This couch is just as beautiful in person as it is online and the color is perfect. It is pretty comfortable, but is not the most comfortable when trying to curl up in the couch corners. We have a dog who sheds a lot and this couch handles pet hair really well.

This rug is of high quality. The "pile" of material is high so when stepping on the rug is comfortable, and the colors are rich. It looks great in the space and I highly recommend.

The delivery window was basically about a week out from estimate (5 rather than 4). The sofa arrived with about an inch of velvet sheared off on the arm, and two of the legs chipped. I took photos per Apt2B's recommendation and submitted a claim to them online, which was responded two in about a day. They offered $200 off (damage was worth more than that to me) or a new sofa. New sofa came in about 5 weeks as well, and the old one was collected at the time by the same shipper. Note: I had paid for white glove delivery, which I think is worthwhile to protect you in case you unwrap it and there's damage. The delivery people both times were very thorough, made sure I took photos and took their own as well. I also advise getting fabric samples beforehand. Otherwise sofa is firm, fabric soft and elegant looking. No stray strings or wonky seams. Just seems the espresso legs are likely more prone to damage.

Normally I wouldn’t buy furniture that I had not sat on, but finding a sofa that would fit thru our RV door and in a small place was impossible locally. I happened on Apt2B, found a sofa the right size that offered a variety of fabrics to choose from, so I took the leap of faith. I paid for white glove service so the pros could get it into the RV. I am totally satisfied with my sofa.

Company fights over this chair. So nice and big and comfortable. if I had the room I would by another! It is the star of the living room!
