I spent a lot of time researching different couch options - brands, configurations, colors, styles - and I still hesitated to buy a piece of furniture that I was not able to sit on before purchase. It was helpful to read the reviews, especially on APT2B's site, and I ended up asking their customer service support team many questions as I explored possible customization for a couch and ottoman set. I ended up ordering the Lawson Sofa with pecan legs plus an ottoman in the smaller size for this style - all in green apple. It is super fun - the color and shape and size are perfect. The seat is firm and the position is upright. The length is great for laying out flat and the ottoman is versatile for creating a chaise or a separate seating spot around the fire. The fabric is sturdy and I love the tweed weave. Delivery was actually faster than I expected to south-central MT. Very happy with this purchase so far. I will be flipping and rotating the cushions to get even wear since it sounds like a helpful strategy - I am glad the bottom cushions allow for this.

I ordered this couch in eclipse velvet for my new apartment and was fully prepared to wait the longest estimated production/shipping time, which would have had the couch to me by sometime in late November/early December. Imagine my surprise when I got a notification that my couch was being delivered just over a month after ordering it!! The delivery process was seamless. To set up the couch I only had to cut away the plastic wrap, screw on the legs and slot the two sofa pieces together and I suddenly had a beautiful sectional! The fabric is so soft, the cushions are firm but comfy, and it feels like a weighty and high quality piece of furniture. Extremely satisfied with my experience!

It's one day old. -It said 5-7 weeks for delivery, shipped at 6 weeks, was in before we hit 7. -It doesn't overwhelmingly smell of glues, plastics, or other substances that produce strong smells while off-gassing. There's a "new" smell but its relatively faint. -Firm cushions are delightfully for thick for my fat a**. They feel firm to the touch but cradle my bum and back for a good posture sit. I'm 5'6" and 220lbs. Foam density was seriously lacking on the previous name brand internet couch. It was clearly made for skinny people. -The back cushions are the right height to put our arms up on and don't squish from the top because they are well tailored with the piping on the edge and the button tufting. -The Berry fabric is gorgeous and soft, warmer tone than looks in their photo but I knew that because I got samples. GET SAMPLES. -The pullout couch looks promising! They moved the bar, literally. It's under the knees and not the back or bum. And the head tilts up just a bit. -The frame is STURDY. Again, my fat a**. I could feel the other frame bow slightly, sometimes it would creak. I'd almost guarantee there was no solid wood in there. This thing is SOLID. I spent hours and hours comparing sofas after buying a popular brand and being completely disappointed with everything but looks and fabric. I wanted it all! Comfort, quality, style, and to have to fit exactly in my small and oddly laid out living room. Apt2b didn't have over the top customer service, sending me updates about the build phase at each juncture with feel good stories... But when I had a question they were responsive and timely. If you're looking for high quality, made in America, fat a** friendly, super stylish furniture, I say go for it if its in your price range. This might be the most expensive. single item I've bought that isn't a house or a car but i'm hoping to have it 10-15 years.

It took me a long time to choose a loveseat. I was replacing an expensive sofa from a very well-known manufacturer. I believe it contributed to lower back pain that was getting worse and worse. I stopped sitting on that sofa the last few months I owned it; I had to to save my back. I would describe that sofa as feeling as if it was stuffed with marshmallows and cotton candy. There was no support beneath me or behind me. Because I had carefully chosen that sofa, I was apprehensive about choosing a replacement. After much research about foam density and other structural support, and after much deliberation, I found Apt2B and finally selected the Lafayette Loveseat. I selected a bench-style seat option, which is one piece, rather than two separate seat cushions. I was excited that I could choose from so many fabric options. I ordered fabric samples, which was very helpful in making my decision. I also had several communications by phone and email with Apt2B’s customer care and was happy with their friendly and thorough attention to my questions and concerns, all the way through; including after I received my loveseat. There was a minor shipping hiccup with which they helped me. I struggled with attaching the legs that I had asked be sent unattached, for the purposes of ensuring it would fit through my doorway. They were helpful with that, too. If I have one somewhat minor complaint it would be that I would have preferred they provided a template on the bottom of the loveseat for guidance as to where to attach the legs; that would’ve helped a lot. Offering that would likely matter to whether I’d purchase a second loveseat, chair, or sofa; as I don’t feel fully confident in my work attaching the legs. I am aware that others are more adept at such things and therefore wouldn’t necessarily have the same concern or difficulty. Other than that, I’ve been very happy with this purchase. I am so far quite impressed with how this loveseat is equally supportive and comfortable. I hope of course that it holds up without much degradation of the integrity of the foam and support structure. Also, because the back cushions can be removed, there’s versatility in how I sit on the loveseat. With the back cushions on, it’s a supportive and comfortable experience sitting upright with feet on the floor or on a foot rest. With one or both back cushions removed, I put a throw pillow in the corner and sit catty-corner with my legs stretched out diagonally in front of me, and I feel relaxed and comfortable. This review is long, because during my search I was grateful to read detailed opinions to help me make a decision. So maybe something I’ve said here can help you. I was incredibly apprehensive before making this purchase and am so relieved on the other side of it. I’m including a picture of my loveseat, which is the wine velvet fabric. The color is beautiful and vibrant. The color can look different from one picture to the next, and that I believe is largely because it depends on the lighting and other factors. But no matter how much or what kind of light is in the room at the time, I’m pleased with the color. I highly recommend ordering fabric samples first so that you can see what the color looks like in your space before choosing. The throw pillows in the picture are mine. I am using the two matching pillows that came with the loveseat on a different sofa. For me, that was a bonus, because those pillows are a beautiful complement to the other sofa, which is in the same room. Also, for those of you with cats, let me add this detail: I have two cats who like to scratch pretty much everything. Thankfully, they don’t seem interested in scratching this loveseat. The velvet fabric is considered a pet-friendly choice in that it’s supposed to be somewhat resistant to such things, but in my case they don’t exhibit any interest in scratching it, yet certainly appear happy to hang out on the loveseat :^). And no, it’s not covered with cat hair either. Yay.

Love our new sofa, it’s super comfortable. Highly recommend ordering swatches to choose the fabric color, we chose Peacock and the color and feel of the fabric is so nice.

Great quality. This sofa is SOLID. It feels luxurious and the cushions have great padding. Not to soft so you know that the padding will last a long time. The pullout bed is easy to open up and put away. Overall very happy with my purchase. Only downside was delivery. They were an hour late and were not prepared to move a couch upstairs even though I paid extra for set up.

I looked around for awhile for a couch for our sunroom, including ordering swatches. We’re very happy with what we got, couch is the color we wanted and very soft fabric.

This couch is absolutely gorgeous!! We chose marigold velvet to go in our mid-century style home. It perfect to lay on for a nap and well made.

Love the idea of this couch, but my cushions seem very flat compared to other photos I’ve seen people post. I’ve only had the couch since May.
