Review collected by a third partyI give 5 stars because the experience was phenomenal. A1 plus team scheduled quickly the first introduction meeting for a proper quote. But this first meeting was what convinced to do business with A1. Ricardo was not a pushy sales man, he offered me different options to save me money prior to showing the most expensive options. When we agreed to the product to purchase from A1 plus, he then showed me the most convenient financial payment for us. The rest of the process was seamless and the team from A1 plus provided constant updates on the progress of the project. The day of construction the crew came in and explained to me what was going to happen and they needed from me. The entire process I can attest that I felt I understand everything they were doing. As of now I’m a happy customer and will happily refer them to anyone.

Review collected by a third partyI’ve used this company about four times in the last decade, most recently today to troubleshoot a lighting issue (ended up replacing photo cell) and replacing some lightbulbs high up on external balcony. Every time has been responsive, friendly, and the issues stayed fixed. Update: Eric came out today to diagnose and repair a non functional kitchen light. He worked quickly and efficiently (it was clear he knew what he was doing), while still being friendly and willing to answer questions and explain what he was doing. Great job! Still Definitely recommend.

Review collected by a third partyI had a mixed experience with A1 Plus for air conditioning repair. My AC went out, and based on their impressive 4.8/5 star rating and over 2500 reviews on Google, I chose them for the job. Their technician arrived promptly and mentioned his decade of experience. He diagnosed a refrigerant leak and advised replacing the frozen coil. However, when he asked me to turn on the heat on all floors, it tripped the system, and he placed a jumper cable that caused the house temperature to skyrocket above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. When I inquired about the price for a coil replacement, the technician launched into a lengthy sales pitch instead of giving me a straightforward answer. After much persistence, he quoted $4200, which seemed quite high compared to the $1800-$3000 range I found online. Despite my attempt to negotiate, he only lowered it to $3500, using various sales tactics that felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. He told me everything from his boss would yell at him, he had a young daughter at home, and if I hired anybody else cheaper, they wouldn’t do the proper job needed. Ultimately, I decided not to proceed with A1 Plus. I paid a $79 inspection fee, and the technician left, but not before he called later to say he forgot to remove the jumper cable, which continued to heat my house excessively. I had to hire another company, Genco, to fix this issue. Genco was professional, straightforward, and charged significantly less (I’m talking half the price). In summary, while A1 Plus initially seemed promising, the high prices and aggressive sales tactics left a very sour impression. I would advise caution and consider getting multiple quotes before making any decision.
