  I was impressed with the quality of the service, particularly the ease of finding what I was looking for on the website, and the relative simplicity of ordering and checking out. I was also impressed, if not simply surprised, by the speed of delivery; the item arrived very quickly from overseas. Packaging was excellent, and communication from and with the seller was excellent. I was informed at every step of the purchase-shipping-delivery process where my item/package was. It does not get much better than this.

  I actually had two of the same items ordered from them. They were shipped separately by 1001 hobbies. The first package was fine. The second arrived damaged with the items box partially crushed. Be aware that they are shipping from France, not Michigan.

  Oh, I'd have to say they did well considering they shipped from Paris to about 120 miles due west of Chicago. They were very good on keeping me informed, I'll have to say that. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again!

  I was happy with 1001 Hobbies lead times and delivery. They should pay a bit more attention to packaging to ensure the contents dosn't get crushhed a bit, not severe. I do save the boxes to the models I purchase. Also the limitations of credit card usage to only $250 was a bit restrictive. All in all they seem to have the products i wanted over some other sites and i havew been pleased with them.

  1001Hobbies tracked down four sets of a now somewhat hard to find PE set for my order. They packed it well, and it got through the respective postal services in excellent condition.   Very bad. Order shipped from France wrapped in nothing but some bubble wrap! ANY model kit needs to boxed in a larger box and then padded with newspaper, bubble wrap etc. your order arrived promptly but was crushed in transit. NEVER ship a model without boxing in a bigger box and padding it. You must be stupid not to know this

  I finally got to actually open the box yesterday as I went away on vacation right after it arrived The contents seem to end okay but this was very scary. I still can not understand how you would ever mail out any kit without boxing it up first

  One of the resin detail sets had a broken exhaust and a broken "protective" flange. No big deal, but I believe additional protection packaging should be implemented. This would likely have prevented the breakage. Also I feel the shipping time was considerable, even with the pandemic, though I realize the postal system was the culprit here..

  After ordering 3 items on March 2, 2021 I finally received my package on Apr 21, 2021. Imagine my surprise when I opened it and DID NOT FIND ANY ITEMS I HAD ORDERED. That's right, they were 0 for 3. I do not know who they have working in their packing department but the person is incompetent! It appears somehow that my order was switched with someone else's and after waiting over 6 weeks for my items I am disgusted with 1001Hobby's ability to fulfill an order!

  I ordered decals for my brother. He said he found the type of decals that he had been looking for only from 1001 Hobbies, except they would be coming from France and we are in the U.S. I placed the order on Sunday, April 4, 2021, and it arrived on Saturday, May 1, 2021. We thought it would arrive toward mid-May to the end of the month. Instead, the decals arrived in less than a month. Thank you 1001 Hobbies!!
