I brought this hat as a beach option. As i felt having a starw hat with a drawstring would be perfect as my beach is a bit windy. I already have a number of other Will and Bear hats so was happy to add the the collect. I was very surprised when it arrived how sturdy and the high quality materials this hat have been created with. It feels like its too good for a daggy beach hat. Also the brim is wider than I thought and offers a lot of protection from the sun. I would recommend this as a must have hat for summer!

This is the 5th hat i bought from Will and Bear and as always the quality is great! Love the material, little sturdier than the standard bucket hat.

I have now purchased three of these hats as gifts and referred my sister who bought one for her son. Everyone who received a hat loves them. My son in law (he has 2) and hubby wear theirs constantly and so they get a little grubby. They clean up really well. A fabulous product and a company that does its bit for the environment. Brilliant!

I'm loving wearing this hat for summer walks. It's extremely lightweight, a great colour and I love the strap, which can be used to secure the hat during windy weather or to hang the hat down my back when I want to take it off. The only problem I had was the top of the hat being a bit prickly on my scalp. I solved this by sewing a soft strip of cotton fabric on the inside as a makeshift lining.

I've never been a hat person, definitely felt like they didn't suit me, but living through so many Australian summers, hats are definitely a must have. I am in love with the Rider Bone hat, the fact that it's adjustable definitely helped with sizing, and the leather cord ensured that my hat doesn't fly off my head, which kept me smug at outdoor gatherings when other hats were flying off heads. The sustainability policy of Will & Bear is what drew me in, and I am glad i can support the good work they do.

THIS IS MY GO-TO SUMMER HAT, IM A GINGER SO I HAVE IT RIGHT BY MY FRONT DOOR READY TO POP ON AS SOON AS I GO OUT INTO THE AUSSIE SUMMER SUN. IT'S LIGHT WEIGHT AND BREEZY BUT STILL MANAGES TO BE SUPER WELL MADE AND STRUCTURED. IF YOU'RE AFTER A GREAT ALL ROUND SUMMER HAT THAT CAN GO FROM THE GARDEN, TO THE BEACH TO A BEER GARDEN SUNDAY SESH, THEN THIS IS THE HAT FOR YOU. POSTAGE WAS SUPER FAST AND DEALING WITH WILL & BEAR IS ALWAYS A DREAM ... THIS IS MY THIRD HAT AND I AM QUICKLY BECOMING OBSESSED.

I love it how effortless this hat is for the beach or gardening. I’m super happy with my purchase, although I do think the price point is a bit high, as I wouldn’t expect this hat to last as long as the wool hats.

I returned the Calloway straw for rider bone and it’s love. Much more suited to my needs, the drawstring is great, lightweight and sits nicely, brim not too flat, love it.

I thought Calloway was going to be it then Andy arrived & swept me off my feet. Love my new hat great fit & coverage. Can’t wait to add to my Will & Bear collection. Oh before I forget my teenage son loves his beanie best ever is his verdict.
