Bought this hat to travel overseas. It was ideal as I could attach the string to my handbag when not wearing it. Provided plenty of sun coverage and brown colour matched with a variety of clothing

Appears to be a quality product. Happy with wider brim. The medium 57 as measured is a bit oversized but adjusting the interior band and using fillers gives a comfortable fit. Fitted a chinstrap from another company.

I needed a replacement hat that will last. After wearing rabbit felt hats I always thought wool would be heavy but that hasn't been the case. I looked at all the more well know brands and the cost was between unreasonable and ridiculous. I am rough on my gear and this hat is as robust as it needs to be and super comfortable. The narrower brim has less flop than wider brim styles which works for me.

Seems to be a nice solid hat with a nice stiff brim.. I did have a sizing issue as I’m a 59 & originally ordered large to suit, however it was way too big. Very easy return & exchange process for a medium which fits me perfectly.. I was also impressed with the way the hat came (both times) securely packed in a large box, so it wouldn’t get misshapen in transit. I’ve had other half decent hat brands send them crushed in a postal bag.. As I plan on this hat being my official “Bush hat” & it will be beaten around in all sorts of conditions, I gave it 3 separate coats of high quality silicon waterproofing & protection spray.. I’ve also changed out the thin leather band for a 6 braid kangaroo leather band, just as a matter of personal taste. Haven’t tried it in the field yet, but it looks like it will hold up quite well… Also, great price (got mine on sale) as I was close to dropping $300 on an Akubra.

Love this hat! Stylish yet comfortable, feels soft yet holds it's shape. It's my favourite and the colour is perfect for the coming warmer weather. Very happy indeed.
