  I generally prefer to shop in independent local places but still had a great experience today, so thank you Stock It All. I traded in an old camera and lenses to upgrade the my kit, the trade in service is great but if you have a few bits it does take time. I'm all for it taking time as I like buying second hand and appreciate that they take that kit as seriously as new. They were perfectly happy for me to leave the stuff with them to value so you won't be tied to the shop. There are many cameras out on display for you to look at and play with before your purchase. The staff are friendly and helpful without being pushy. A friend recently used their rentals service and we were both impressed by the quality, speed and price

  Broad range of cameras, lenses and other photographic equipment. Friendly helpful staff who have a variety of knowledge and expertise between them. They advise on photography basics and advanced levels at the local shop which having done some of them have found them knowledgeable, useful and answer questions about your own camera and own technical questions, no matter what level without looking you down through the 👃 nose

  Only place I could get my camera from....Nice place small but clean and tidy ...helpful staff...not sure if they knew what they was taking about ...sold me a $200.00 Camera...only to find out it is complex to use I'm only a novice kind of person using a camera..but went on you tube to learn how to access some of the icon and other use it can do ...Tip :always let them know how much / or little knowledge u have about any type of camera/ camcorder...

  Purchased a 35mm SLR from these guys and the staff were extremely helpful with everything. Took me (a novice) through the process of loading film in so I wasn't totally lost, and even threw in some free film! To top it off, their prices are fantastic.

  Brilliant camera shop in NYC. Have bought plethora of camera equipment there over the years. Customer service is first rate, prices are competitive, their second hand selection is mint-like and there is even a car park. Highly recommended.

  I ordered a Fujifilm lens from Stock It All Cameras, the first time I'd bought a this brand of lens, so was a little anxious. I needn't have been. Not only was the price the most competitive I'd found online, the customer service flawless- super-friendly, professional and helpful.   I've once purchased a used Olympus lens from Harrison. I called in first to check its availability and condition. They were very honest, the lens arrived the following day and was in the uncharted waters. Full marks.

  Camera and VIdeo Gear that you won't find anywhere else. All the brands, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Nikon, Sony and Canon are all stocked, and they also have the VDSLR Samyang lenses which I will invest in next month.

  Everything is there. Very pleasant and fast service. The advice is good. If you do not know where to go to get photo or video equipment and be sure you have choice and advice. There is a dedicated photo, video and used equipment store. You never seem to bother them. Once they made a mistake, apologized and rectified the situation. It is unfortunately something that becomes rare suddenly it deserves to be noted.

  A friendly and competent salesperson took all the time to advise me. I was able to handle the different devices I had pre-selected following deep research. It's not the most expensive camera that I was finally recommended. I do not regret having gone through New York. Finally Internet informed me and Stock It All advised and allowed me to handle. That's where I bought.

  This is an amazing shop! They have a wide variety of both new and used photographic equipment. The staff is highly knowledgeable and kind. It's very easy to find what you're looking for on the website, but you can also ask at the shop and they will quickly find out whether they have the item you look for in stock.

  I got wonderful service from the store. My purchase was online and it was shipped very fast, arriving across the country in 3 working days (from warehouse). Well packaged, the item arrived in perfect condition. They enveloped the lens cloth as a small gift which was unexpected but a quite welcome gesture. I spoke with a representative over the phone and he was helpful, courteous, and professional. I'd certainly buy from them again.

  Can't speak highly enough about this store.   By far the best camera store in NYC for both pro and enthusiasts. Excellent staff that offer useful advice. Most of whom know their customers name and vice versa. The prices are extremely fair. And most importantly, Stock It All Depot provide all the post-purchase support you could never get from their online / international / interstate competitors.

  Visiting Stock It All Depot is always an experience by itself. Just browsing the shop is like exploring a photographer's heaven and video tech exhibition. Everything from used gear over film and development chemicals to the up-to-the-minute digital cameras is in stock and the staff knows all about it as well. Make sure that you've got a plan what to buy and stick to it, else you might end up with a massive blackhole in your wallet!

  Very polite to deal with and the fact that there was no upfront cost for quoting was an extra bonus. The initial ballpark for lens repairs sounded pricey to me and when I explained my reluctance to fund these repairs, an alternative option of using second-hand parts for the repairs was offered to me, which I was happy to go with as this reduced the overall costs substantially. The subsequent piece of work was carried out swiftly and communication was superb throughout. The lens now seems to be in fine fettle, even with the second-hand parts (touch wood). Based upon my experience I would have no issues using Stock It All cameras in the future.

  If you've a penchant for photography, this place is a must-visit. They have everything here - film cameras from decades ago, digital gear, and the experienced guys at the back who are great to chat with for recommendations. I'm grateful that places like this exist to keep cameras going.

  This is a new store (my humble opinion), they have very friendly team. I invested in a Fuji x-t30 and they helped me to setup everything and even show me how to use and improve the performance of the system. I will definitely go back to get superior lens.

  The employees here are friendly & very helpful. I recently paid them a visit & was on crutches, they were emphatic kindly showing me seating while they went about finding some information for me, while processing my order.   The shop is a cut above the rest and exhibits it's diverse selection of photographic products including photographic equipment, kits, accessories and gifts. However the main reason for the 5 stars is their staff; they are very approachable and knowledgeable and are clearly passionate about the industry they work within. If you are looking for good advice perhaps before printing your images, this shop is second to none.

  Took my 📷 in for repair, I noticed a component got broken while under repaired, and I didn't need to point that out, the technician quickly ordered the new piece and fit that free of charge. Very happy about their service. Sadly my camera broke again, and it's not worth spending any more money in repairs, but I'll surely switch from buying on large chains like B&H to buying from them! Highly recommended. 10/10

  Stock It All staff is very knowledgeable and helpful! We went on Friday and had a quick look at one camera model with one of the guys there, who spent chunks of time just showing us different functions of the camera and how these affect pictures in a real scenario. After some extra research online, we decided we would like to see the superior model of the camera from a few days ago so i got in touch with the store directly. They were again very helpful and reserved it for me until i could reach the store in the evening. Needless to say, half hour later i left the store with a new (and upgraded) toy, plus a number of accessories, all ready to try this weekend in France. Thanks James for all your help!

  I purchased a Nikon Z6 yesterday along with kit lens from this store. I have been tracking the price changes for the last four weeks waiting for the prices drop for black Friday. Their website has the option of tracking the price drop, which became very useful for me. James was the person who handled the sale. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and above gave me the best holiday price that I could find anywhere in Manhattan. I strongly recommend this store for anyone who is interested in buying a camera or lenses!

  Gobbled up Z50 with dual lens kit with bonus FTZ mount adapter today. I am glad I found out about this store before I made purchase at Adorama. Price is unbeatable! Adorama's couldn't even price match since the deal you get from Stock It All camera is non-existing in their shop. Reserved by phone and picked up at the store with ease. They don't even try to sell you anything extra. In and out. Nice and simple.

  My classic 24-105mm zoom lens started developing defects after a thud. After startup, the lens would support up to 1 to 5 pictures and then conk off. Bad times, but luckily, I had another lens to swap out for taking photos of our trip to the place where my ancestors fought the confederates South of the Mason-Dixon Line. After returning home, I took the lens to the Stock It All for their opinion. I was told that they would need to send the lens back to a licensed repair facility to have them check the deterioration and compute a repair estimate. There was a slight charge by the store for that service. I decided to send the lens off to get them put the flaw under the microscope for the estimate for repair. As it turned out, a wire reinforcement within my lens flexed out of shape and required replacement. Some additional minor tweaks were made to get the lens back into peak working order. The whole process took about 6 weeks to complete. The repair cost was about 1/3rd the price of a brand new lens but I thought it was an acceptable price to pay to get what would now be considered to be a refurbished piece of equipment. I was never told what to do by the folks who work at Stock It All, but they provided me with sufficient data to make an informed decision about which course of action I should embark upon. I appreciated their friendly demeanor and willingness to work with me to resolve my issue. I will surely return to Stock It All when I need advice, help with resolution of a problem or new equipment to feed my hobby. They certainly earned my trust during my dealings with them associated with my lens repair. Check out the Stock It All and see if they can help you out in some manner.

  We live in Montreal in a neighborhood where you can't find a camera store. near you. We heard great things about B&H but we had several bad experiences with buying and returning gear. We then tried Stock It All Depot and have been VERY impressed with how well we've been treated. We've had to return a couple expensive lenses and there was zero hassle at all... I can trust Stock It All Depot when buying $25,00 lenses or expensive camera bodies.

  Having purchased a few items from Stock It All in the past but not in this magnitude in price, savings, or quantity. From sales, shop manager, to customer support, my experience was great. I had concerns as this was a Black Friday shopping and I wasn't clear on several aspects, but all in all I was very impressed with the process. I will be looking to Stock It All more often moving forward.

  As a bare bone beginner in the optics world, I wish I knew this place at the onset. After months of brain-racking research and endless visits to camera stores.   My wife and I had the most wonderful experience at Stock It All. The service was awesome each and every time we’ve been in the store. The most phenomenal experience was with James when we purchased Olympus and lens. He was so very helpful and informative and really provided us with some of the best service we EVER had.   Stock It All Depot symbolizes an absolute geek paradise. Everything you can possibly think of electronics gadgets, audio, photo and video gear in sheer immensity, full of a well trained and polite staff.   I found Stock It All Depot a few years ago when I needed lighting. They were one of the few selling a genuine product instead of a knock off. Didn't realize a no-frills device hides so much powerful performance. This is the third time doing business with them and I must say, they are straight forward and do good business and ship fast!   Their online ordering with store pickup is very smooth and reliable. I live nearby so this is preferable to shipping. You can also order many items that are not displayed in the store. Most things are ready in 30 minutes...

  If you're into computers, audio production, video, photography (even with film), music, optics, and anything else related: this is the place to go. The selection is huge (they have some random stuff I couldn't even find on Amazon), the staff are incredibly helpful knowledgeable, and everything is organized and displayed so you can find what you need easily. I can't recommend Stock It All Depot highly enough.

  The product line variety was massive, the staff is outstandingly helpful, and they run a tight ship. Sometimes I just go to look around because there's so much stuff, and the prices are actually very similar to places like Amazon and Best Buy. They also have very niche markets, like lesser known electronics and accessory on sale. The large volume of stock also allows for customer freedom all the time. This is probably the best tech store in NYC.

  This place is camera Disneyland. Every time I go in, I inevitably end up spending more time than I meant to. There’s just so much cool stuff to get your hands on and try out. The people there are incredibly helpful and often share your enthusiasm for camera gear, so they get it. Love this place.

  Photographer/cinematographer heaven! This place is amazing and has a vast selection of camera gear, lighting, lenses and more. Ordered a new Sigma ART 35mm lens on their website for pickup the next day. The pickup was very efficient and the staff was very friendly, professional and polite. Highly recommended, even if your not shopping for new gear this is a great place to visit and take a look around. You can even learn a thing or two from their staff! Forgot to mention Stock It All Depot has the best pricing along with 1-Day delivery if ordered on their website.

  As a British customer, I think Stock It All Depot is an excellent company with fantastic customer service. They provide very inexpensive brokerage service, warnings about certain types of imports, free shipping at certain purchase values and more. Their Web site is very easy to understand and use. I made a point to visit the New York store when I was in the city. It's a sight to behold. All of your purchases come to the expert's desks via an overhead track system and they're all ready for you at the checkout when you leave. They often can't be beat price-wise. They process returns and answer questions very quickly. If I could add a higher rating, I would.

  World's Mecca for camera Lovers and friendliest photography store! Massive but we'll staffed. Super helpful in every department. Bring your camera and test it against studio lights, lenses and every other product you can imagine. The store unpacks novel technologies and sources from manufacturer directly.   Terrific, independent local store... exotic in every way possible. Knowledgeable staff. Improved website for ordering and picking up goods on the store. Great place to actually see how something performs as opposed to buying at an online retailers. Plenty of staff to guide you...no one was pushy like going to a B&H-that was appreciated. Take your kids there to see high tech toys and all in the cool gadgets-we’ll worth your time.

  I went in to see if they'd be interested in exchanging 120 for 135... completely at their mercy, the proprietor was very generous and went for an even trade when he was fully aware they didn't have to. I'm so overwhelmed by the offer that I'm determined to go back and see what I can do to spend in their store. What a profoundly personal touch - if you're looking for something photography related, definitely give them a try.

  I'm a freshman in photography, the gentleman I dealt with not only showed me a wide assortment of lenses and an adapter, in all he was very helpful and at a price I was very impressed with.   Canon DSLR-high end. I purchased this as a gift but I own several Canon products. This is a good starter kit as it provides enough for the person to experiment and learn about photography and the equipment before deciding what else they may need.   I was served by James at the New York store. He was fantastic as he was able to solve my camera battery charger problem quickly and saved me money in the process as I was unsure if the problem was actually with my battery (and not the charger).   It is brilliant to have this store in New York as camera shops that deal in high-end products are few and far between in the city and online is not always appropriate for such gear, as even if it is available, delivery can be so expensive and not always reliable. We have used this store over a number of years for both trade-in and new products and the staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable, particularly James. He is always so helpful and it is great to see someone who is cheerful behind the counter rather than someone who looks like they are only interested in how quickly 5pm can come.
