  I love my new stand up desk! My desk arrived really quickly and was easy to assemble. The package was missing one screw. When I emailed the store about it, they sent me some replacement screws right away.

  Very pleased with the desk... Compared to other elevated desks that I researched, this particular model looks less industrial. It’s much more stylish and sleek. I like the way the desktop (I purchased a birch-finish top and love the color & satin finish) narrows along the front end to form a slight 1” slant to the front edge of the top. You might not pick up on that design feature from the online photos, but if you zoom-in, you will notice it. It’s a nice touch... Of note, the desktop is not solid wood but rather is a laminate over what appears to be some sort of composition board. This is most likely necessary to keep the weight of the desktop lighter than solid wood, especially with the hydraulic lift (not electric). With that in mind, the desktop is still heavier than you might expect and looks substantial. Personally, I prefer laminate (or synthetic finishes) because it will withstand light scratches over a genuine wood finish. It cleans up well too! Another design feature that I like is that the outer legs are white enamel along with the feet. Only the inner legs which begin to appear when the desk is elevated are a steel color. And I like the contrast of the two colors, where when elevated to a 36” height, you see approximately 3/4 white from the top of the leg down and then 1/4 of the inner leg which is the steel color from the bottom going up about a quarter of the overall extension of the leg on both sides. This helps to make the overall desk look less industrial and the contrast actually works well. The white enamel frame with the birch-finish top looks amazing in my space. Also of note, the desk is delivered in two tall boxes a little bigger than the size of the 56” desktop. Both packages were well cushioned with cardboard and styrofoam insulation and were received in two days via UPS. Assembly took me about an hour, and I needed my spouse to help hold each of the legs until connected with the brace bar, which is located at the top of the unit, not obstructively in the middle as is the case with many other desks. The instruction sheet was good enough but could have been better, especially if they would have numbered the corresponding screws and nuts (which were packaged and organized separately) with the numbers included on the instruction sheet. I spent unnecessary time deciphering which screws and nuts match the illustration on the instruction sheet. Overall though, I am very happy with the finished product & this purchase!
