I was excited to try the product because of the impressive list of ingredients. I think the taste is just awful. I tried several times but ended up throwing out the remaining supply.

I was really looking forward to trying this blend. I brewed it as directed and was expecting it to taste wonderful based on the smell. Sadly, the black pepper dominates the taste and is so overpowering. I tried to like it but ended up having to add some maple syrup to make it a bit more palatable. Any suggestions to help make it more enjoyable would be appreciated!

Reached out. Great customer service but apparently they said this:
Hi Lauren! Our ceramides are made in France and are certified gluten-free. They are extracted from wheat and they are lipid extracts. Additionally, the absence of residual wheat proteins (gluten and gliadins) is checked by a quantification carried out using the ELISA detection method (<LOQ 3ppm). We hope this information is helpful!
BUT also said
It's gluten-free, but the entire product is not certified gluten-free, so it might be best to consult your doctor if you have Celiac *******, just to be safe.
Please pique find a way to make it certified gluten free!

I like your products however this one I purchased and I just do not care for it. Perhaps I was expecting something. It tasted more like a morning cup of coffee, but I don’t drink it. I’ll try it again in a while and see if maybe I’ll feel better or differently about it.
