  Poor Sub - I ordered 11 cake balls...4 of them chocolate but 2 of them were substituted with smores instead.No text no email no phone call. And when I picked it up they didn't say a word to me and the box was taped so I didn't look inside. Please tell a customer when you are subbing out...those 2 cake balls were tossed and I had to do a tasting instead of each person getting their own.Not professionalThank you

  case was good, glitter candles not so much lol - the cake was excellent but the glitter candles were not included with the pick up so didn't get to use. not a big deal i think they were only 1.99 but didn't have candles for the cake probably makes the picutre last longer anyways

  A bit bummed - Patty’s cakes is my go to for gluten free cupcakes and I usually love them so much! This is the first time they were dry & kinda stale tasting as if they were a day old or so & didn’t have the cream in the middle that helps them stay moist. I’ve tasted them like this before only when I’ve left them for a day or two. But never even this dry. (Gluten free cupcakes are much much better the day they are made.) This is the first time Patty’s has ever disappointed. Sad face.

  Wow! Absolutely delicious! - Will definitely be back. The flavor and texture of this cake was perfection: light and delicate, without the too-sweet aftertaste that is typical in bakery cakes. The frosting was more like whipped cream - yum! The tall profile of the cake is festive and fun, and the cake is still so pretty once you cut slices out. Our birthday girl was thrilled!

  Just okay - Some of the flavors I. The 6 pack are ok. Some not so much. I guess that’s why I stick to the similar flavors with this bakery because some of the combinations of flavors are too overpowering especially with as much frosting as they use which is fluffy but too sweet. If they put less frosting it would be a great eat. If they used that smooth buttercream which is light & tastes like it’s a whipped cream, they would do so much better. I used to love this place just like The Cupcake Coutour place in Manhattan Beach.

  Not as good as regular cake - I love patty’s cakes, however this smash cake was terrible. My baby wasn’t interested in it, and when I tried it I understood why. the cake was old and dry, and much extract was used making it gross. We tossed it out. Luckily we ordered another standard cake which he loved the slice I gave him. I would say that I completely regret ordering this smash cake and was basically not edible- by anyone

  Very Tasty - These were very tasty and a huge hit. Only complaint we had was that the price seemed a bit high for their size. We will be buying the full sized cakes next time. Also bought some cookies and they were delicious.

  Micro mini cupcakes - As always, everything about flavor and freshness of the cupcakes was perfection. However, it seems the cupcakes have possibly been a victim of shrink-flation. The last time we ordered them, as well as all the times before, the cupcakes had a tendency to tip over during the short transit home. This time they did not because they were much smaller. So much so that when trying to remove them from the box I only got fingers full of the frosting and, at best, a tiny pinch of the cake. The insert to hold the cupcakes in place hit the cupcakes barely at the top of the cake.Times are tough for everyone. While I understand the cost of business has increased, I’d much rather pay more for the same product than the teenie tiny cupcake bits & pieces that we had to eat off of our fingers.I’ll be back because the flavors are amazing, but hopefully the cake portion of the mini cupcakes returns to the original size.

  Patty's Cakes provided the wedding cake and dessert bar for our wedding, and we could not have been happier with them. From the first consultation and throughout the entire process, everyone at Patty's Cakes was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They worked with us to make an absolutely beautiful wedding cake as well as a really cute and fun dessert table that our guests loved. We thought we had ordered too many desserts, but they were all gone by the end of the night, and everyone told us how much they loved all the different flavors. We would recommend Patty's Cakes to anybody!

  Our wedding was June 25, 2022 & Pattys cakes was the best! We chose the butter pecan & it was delicious! I'm still getting compliments from our guests on how great it tasted. They were extremely professional & coordinated with our wedding planner to ensure it arrived on time. We are very happy with their service & plan on ordering from them for future events

  My family has been going to patty's cakes for years! So when we I was getting married it was a no brainer who will do our cake! I was going to be a July 2020 bride so we ordered the cake back in June in 2019 but that didn't happen. The staff was so nice and understanding when we moved our wedding date and venue to July of 2021. The cake turned out beautifully! All of our guests loved the cake! Thank You Patty's cakes!

  If you are searching for a bakery for your wedding cake, Patty's Cakes is the place! As a recommended vendor from my wedding venue, this bakery did not disappoint. The staff was professional, friendly, and easy to work with! On the day of my wedding, the cake was delivered early and in mint condition. We went with the strawberry cake with a strawberry filling which was so delicious and moist! I generally don't like overly sweet cakes/desserts and this cake was perfect--not too sweet and with the tastiest flavor. Would def repurchase other goods in the future!

  These cupcakes are amazing and delicious! A few favorites are the: white razzle and lemon guava cupcakes.   Patty's cakes made our wedding memorable with one of the best cakes we have ever tasted! We got a chocolate banana Nutella cake and it was mouth watering. We recommend this place to all our friends and anyone needing a cake for their wedding or even just for a yummy cupcake or cookies.   We had Patty's Cakes as one of the wedding vendors included in a package we picked through our venue at Coyote Hills Golf Course. Before our tasting, we decided to take it upon ourselves to try their cupcakes to make sure we chose the right vendor. We ordered their top 6 cupcakes and some cake balls to share with friends and everyone agreed that each one was delicious! Every cupcake was incredibly moist and not overly sweet. Our favorites were the lemon drop and the smores cupcake.Once our tasting date approached, we met with Philip who made the experience fun and pleasant. We were given samples of each frosting, each cake flavor, and suggested pairings of each one. When we had trouble deciding, Philip was there every step of the way to offer up any help and suggestions. The whole process was easy from A-Z.On our wedding day, the cake was delivered on time and was exactly what was ordered. I even got a text letting me know when the cake was on the way and when it was delivered which is a small but very impactful communication to include. It was one less thing for me to worry about on my wedding day. We chose to do the half naked cake design because not only do we love that style but we know our guests don't like a lot of frosting so it was the perfect choice. We were warned that because there isn't as much frosting that the cake could potentially be on the drier side but that was not the case AT ALL. It was still wonderfully moist and the cake turned out beautifully with our flowers.I definitely would recommend Patty's Cake as a vendor or even just in general. If you ever have a sweet tooth, this bakery has got you covered!

  These cupcakes are so moist and light. We live in chino and drove to Fullerton to try these highly rated cupcakes and it was worth the drive. This bakery is HIGHLY DECORATED with lots of nods and awards...and they are WELL DESERVED. We came by on 7/2 for a pick-up order. Paulina was my cashier, very kind and acknowledged me when I walked in. SHe secured my cupcakes and sent me on my way. After lunch we couldn't wait to try them. Right now, the fav is the elvis!!! Im not normally a banana cupcake fan but these are sooooo well done! the flavors are light but present, the cake is moist, the icing is light and flavorful. These cupcakes are worth the cost and drive. We will definitely be back for the next celebration! Great Job Patty's Cakes!

  I came here originally to get a few vegan cupcakes for a friend and ended up falling in love with this place. Would always recommend the s'mores, to live for!!!! Mmmmmm the Blueberry strawberry is also spectacular. Thanks everyone for the hard work, making the day better one cupcake at a time.

  Ordered my daughter's birthday cake and cupcakes here. I placed the order about a week before online and came by the bakery to pick it up the day of the party. Since we were coming from NorCal, I didn't want travel with the baked goods. It was a very easy process online. When my girlfriend and I arrived, we noticed how cute it was. Everything was pink.. from the building to the walls to the decor! There were some people waiting for their orders and only one person standing in line. As soon as I walked up to the cashier and gave my name, they were able to grab the order from the back.All the adults and kiddos loved the cake and cupcakes. Super moist and not too sweet.   This review is long overdue. I had the pleasure to meet and coordinate with Philip when choosing a cake for my wedding.Patty's cake was one of three vendors that I had to choose from because it was part of the package from the venue. During the time we needed to do the cake tasting, it was the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Luckily, it was before the shutdown so we were able to have the cake tasting experience. The tasting was great experience all around. All that we tasted were delicious!We ended up choosing Patty's Cakes over the other two vendors because I liked how Philip followed up with me and that he responded quickly to my emails - especially during the uncertain times we were facing during the pandemic.We had to postpone our wedding for a year and it was easy to communicate that to Philip.Wedding day, we got a text on the status of our cake delivery and it was delivered on time.Highly recommended!

  This review is well overdue, we found them through the fullerton community center because we were going to have our wedding there.The pandemic hit and we weren't able to get married there and we had to postpone for almost more than a year. But Phillip was so amazing he made sure that wherever I was going to have my wedding I was still going have my dream cake.And I honestly did have my dream cake the day of my wedding. From the cake tasting to the big day the service we got here was so amazing. And the cake was so amazing and moist. From the look of it everyone enjoyed the cake because at the end of the night it was gone. A 3 tier cake was gone.So thank you to Amazing staff at patty's cake for the amazing cake and service. We will definitely be going back for cakes, cupcakes and I always recommend this bakery to my family and friends because I know they will not be disappointed!

  I was looking for a cake shop down here near Anaheim to make a cake for my husbands birthday. Being from the Bay Area I was not familiar with this area but stumble upon Patty's Cakes and Desserts and went solely off of seeing the 2,500 positive reviews.Let me tell you, this was probably one of the best cakes I have ever had. We opted for the confetti cake with vanilla Bavarian cream. It was absolutely perfect from the texture, the flavor, the colors and oh my whatever fluffy frosting they put on. It was a hit at the dinner party.I will definitely stop by when back for the other desserts.

  We used Patty's Cakes for my daughter's wedding in December 2019. We had so many compliments about the cake that we knew who to call when we were making arrangements for our 30th Wedding Anniversary.My husband and I drove to the store and sampled different flavored cupcakes until we decided on the Lemon Raspberry. It was light, refreshing, and delicious! On the day of the event, Pattys dropped off the cake without any issues. I have one more daughter at home, and when it's time for her to get married, I know we will be calling Pattys!

  Words can't even explain how happy I am that I chose patty's cakes for my gender reveal. I called and placed an order for 12 gender cupcakes Friday night at 8:30 (closed at 9pm) and they were able to provide cupcakes the next day for this special moment. The cupcake was so delicious and I will definitely order again and refer my friends and family. Thank you sooooo much for making this moment special. As you can see, I'm having a boy!!!!

  Patty was extremely helpful throughout the process and helped us with choosing flavors. We chose 2 flavors because we couldn't decide on just one! We went with the chocolate Nutella frosting and red velvet with cream cheese frosting. Both were delicious and our guests loved it!!

  Seriously...the very best cookies and pastries I've ever had! My husband and I stopped by on our way home from having dinner. I tried the buttery pecan cookie, a dark chocolate fudge ball and a glorious oatmeal cookie. I have very sensitive taste buds and everything about these cookies were made with high quality ingredients. Buttery, soft, chewy and perfectly delicious. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.

  Patty's Cakes cupcakes are amazing. My last purchase was for my 86 year old uncle. He just loves their cupcakes and tells me how he savors each bite. His favorites are CHOCOLATE WITH CHOCOLATE FUDGE CUPCAKE the LEMON RAZZLE CUPCAKE cupcakes. The cake is always fresh and the cupcakes presentation is always amazing!

  The cake was delicious, all 3 layers plus the kitchen cake we ordered. The 2 most popular flavors of our cake were the strawberry cake with mango filling and the marble cake with mint chip filling. A week after our wedding, we are still enjoying the leftovers and they taste just as fresh as on our wedding day.There is only one small negative I have, but not enough to dock a star. The cake we got had the letter "W" on the front and the person who delivered the cake put the "W" facing the wall on our cake table. Thankfully the photographer still got a picture when we were cutting the cake because we were cutting from behind the table, but it would have been better if it was set up correctly.

  Patty's Cakes is the best choice! We used them to order our wedding cake and let me just say they went above and beyond to give us a genuine cake tasting experience. Their cakes are delicious! Our guests were raving about it! They even accommodated our venue even though it was a little further than their usual range of delivery.
