I’m so impressed by these! The locking/unlocking mechanism is seamless and so easy to use one-handed. My only wish is for them to also come with plastic tips to be used on nonstick cookware - I’d buy those in a second!

Watch Out - Knives Out! - I haven't had these for long, but am really impressed with the sharpness of these knives. They cut through tomatoes like butter. Lightweight and a beautiful assortment of colors. I would definitely recommend adding these to your kitchen tools.

I've been using hand-me-down pots and pans for almost two decades because I didn't want to spend money on pans I'd just have to replace or hate after purchasing. Since I've been cooking from home so often since March 2020, I decided that it was finally time to spend actual money on a set I actually researched and wanted, and I've heard nothing but good things about Material. I added the Knives Stand, the reBoard, and Copper Set to my cart and didn't look back. I knew I was getting high quality cookware, but it didn't click until I unboxed each one that I had purchased the most beautiful pieces of functional shiny art I've ever owned. The Coated Pan is slick both in presentation and in function, and has made making eggs a breeze for what seems like the first time ever. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper.

I bought the knives stand as a gift for my daughter since she has been eyeing these out for a few months. She was thrilled and cannot wait to use them in her new home. The Material team was a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions in a timely manner!

These are beautiful, and very sharp. One star off as I hoped there would be a bit more weight to these (to better match the feel of my everyday silverware), but they are nonetheless a welcome upgrade from my old set.

While these scissors are labeled “The Good Shears” I prefer to call them “The Great Shears”. They are comfortable to cut with, sturdy, stainless steel, completely come apart, and are dishwasher friendly. They will be great in the kitchen as well as perfect for snipping garden herbs and flowers. What’s not to love?

While I am always on the hunt for “the perfect” kitchen tools, I am also a firm believer that no tool serves all needs, and that one needs the right tool for the right job. That being said, I really like the look, feel and weight of this tool. It will be a great spatula for my NONSTICK cook wear, but I will continue to grab a metal spatula for my cast iron and metal surface pans.
