I purchased the stand and initial set of three knives as a gift for my husband. They are truly beautiful pieces that you can display in your kitchen. Most knife blocks are ugly and contribute to the feeling of clutter on your counters, but this stand takes up minimal space while looking unique and architectural. My one criticism is that I wish it came with an additional three knives to round out the set.

I just moved to a new condo and decided to start fresh with my kitchen gear. In doing my research, I somehow stumbled upon Material. After reviewing all the information available on the site, I took the plunge and ordered the Iconics set. I couldn't be happier! Each piece exudes craftsmanship and quality and I love how the storage block is a space saver while still making a statement on the counter. The knives are razor sharp and supremely well balanced. Totally in love Material!

I love this peeler because the negative space makes it beautiful. It's also super ergonomic and easy to use. The blade rotates easily and has a practical range that keeps it from spinning all over. As an object it's a joy to hold, and to use it's the easiest there is.

I've had lots of turners – metal ones, plastic ones, firm, flexible – this one has balance of all. It's wide enough and shallow enough to fit in any pan, has just the right handle slope to get between things in a pan, its edges are perfect for getting under something, and it doesn't burn or melt at the edges as all my other non-metal turners have. I love it 🙌🏼
