I have always preferred Y peelers, usually going for the ceramic ones as I have found them to stay sharper longer. My loyalty may be swayed by this baby. It feels substantial, peels beautifully and I hope that the included plastic cover will help in keeping the edge on it for longer. And, like all the material products, its elegant eye candy.

Knives are only as good as their sharpness, so I have personally helped support the whole sharpener industry by purchasing most of the ones that I have come across. Other than taking my Shun Knives with me to Japan to be sharpened by experts in person, these devices are now my daily go-to. When I first ran my knife through this, I thought 'oh no, sounds flimsy and ineffective'. But to my surprise, when I went to go dice tomatoes, the knife was decently sharpened. Good looking, small footprint, Well done Material!

I was originally looking for a soft-turner only but decided to add a metal flipper and serving spoon. This is the first I have ever ordered from Material and I am very picky about my kitchen tools. I have really been blown away by the quality of these three. I would absolutely recommend Material!

As with the sauce pan the pan was very good, but the lid got very hot and requires a pot holder to lift it.

The pot is great . Heats nicely and is easy to clean. However the lid needs to be removed holding a pot holder. It gets very hot. My previous pot set allowed me to remove the lid without using a pot holder so this was a surprise.

These glasses are nothing short of wonderful! They are lightweight and stackable, too. The color is so much fun. The only drawback is that the bottom does catch water in the dishwasher, which I knew about before purchasing. Even that was not bothersome enough to give the glasses less than five stars.

I have two of these so far and they are my favorites. They do not pick up a stain when cooking a dish with a tomato base. The turners are dishwasher safe, too.
