SENSORIALITY Upon opening, I found the packaging to be what I have come to expect from Dr. Brandt products - plastic but sturdy. I appreciate this, while I love the look of a nice glass container, I use facial products in my bathroom and one slip, and it hits the tile and it's not so nice anymore. With that said, I found the container without some kind of tool to remove the product not so great. I would have preferred something that dispensed the product. Not necessarily a typical pump but something more like deodorant which you can twist to get product to rise up. The texture was nice. I prefer my lip scrub grains to be smaller, but this product did the job as well. Smell was very neutral and perfect for someone with sensitivities. What I was pleased with especially is the balance of the overall contents. It did not apply super oily, nor was it like chapstick with a waxy feel. EFFICIENCY The strengths - new product offering from Dr. Brandt, made my lips feel soft (but required lip balm after), texture was not too abrasive on lips The weaknesses - did not find that it exfoliated my lips or improved my lips overall any better than other lip scrubs. My lips felt dry after using and required a lip product (such as a balm) to be applied to appreciate smooth texture. Was too abrasive to be used on lip line/area around lips (caused redness). ANOTHER APPRECIATED ASPECT The concept of prepping one's lips for lip stick has kind of gone by the wayside these past two years. Wearing a mask, I just apply lip balm. Now that I am back to not wearing a mask as often, I've resumed wearing lip stick. I did notice my lipstick application went on nicer after using a scrub. MY ADVICE FOR USE Directions state to apply on lips and area along lip line. Having a lighter complexion, I found this caused redness around my lips. May not be as noticeable for someone with darker skin. I resolved by applying the product before going to bed, however I didn't notice as much of an improvement with applying lipstick the next day as if I had used the product right before applying cosmetics. So, I just opted to only apply to lips. The excess that was on my fingers after applying to lips I massaged into my cuticles. It was great way to get two uses out of one application and my nails appreciated the extra love too. WHO I RECOMMEND IT TO Honestly, a heavy lip stick user is who I would recommend something like this to. I don't know that it made much of a difference for me personally. Products that are intended to plump your lips tend to sting and I had hoped to notice a little anti-aging on the lip area with this product without the sting. For sensitive skin, it mostly met my expectation and I believe others with similar issues will find this to be a good scrub. I would not recommend this to someone that has cracking or splitting but it does smooth minor imperfections of the lip to make for a better lip stick application. I would also recommend to someone looking for a quick fix for cuticles between manicures. Bath and Body Works used to make a hand scrub that was amazing but no longer carries - this reminded me of that product when used around nail beds.

SENSORIALITY Packaging is really nice and dare I say, cute! Many times I'm attracted to pick up something to look at it due to packaging and this fits the bill. The smell is pleasant which is great since it is used on the lips. The texture is gritty since it is an exfoliant but not too tough on the lips. EFFICIENCY It is not super sticky. I find some lip exfoliants to be very sticky and thus hard to wipe off. This one is not like that. I am currently on vacation on a cruise and burned my lips so they have been peeling. I was able to use this to help exfoliate my lips but it was not too harsh. ANOTHER APPRECIATED ASPECT I like the texture. I have tried other brands where the particles that exfoliate sort of "unglue" from the product so there are little beads all over the stick etc ( hope that makes sense to some of you all!) MY ADVICE FOR USE Start with very small amount and add more if needed. A little of this product goes a long way. WHO I RECOMMEND IT TO I would recommend this product to anyone. I think all our body parts need regular exfoliation. Some might use it more frequently than others but I don't think it is for one particular skin type.

I was not expecting this eye gel to be a deep peach, nearly orange, color! But the color doesn't show up once it's been applied, except that it seems to have some color-correcting effect on the darkness under my eyes. The gel comes out of the tube through a tiny nozzle, and I have noticed that most mornings when I go to use it, there is a thickened and somewhat dry plug that comes out first with smoother product behind that. I just make sure to have a washcloth or some tissue to catch that dry-ish bit in - the first time I used the tube the plug popped out with force, popped off my finger and right onto the carpet. The gel has almost no scent, and what scent it has is close to vanilla extract or cupcakes. I can definitely feel this product after applying it, but in a good way. It actually feels like it's doing something to that tender skin all around the eyes, a gentle tautness. It also mattifies the area without making it feel dried out, which is really nice too. The packaging advises that this product be used after an eye moisturizer has been applied and absorbed, and to allow the products to dry fully before applying more, and I absolutely agree with that. This eye de-puffing gel isn't a stand-in or replacement for the eye cream portion of your skincare routine. This product is more a part of your makeup routine. SENSORIALITY The texture feels like a nice coarse lip scrub and doesn't have much of a scent to it. The packaging is nice and appropriate for the type of product that it is. EFFICIENCY It did not wow me too much but it is the standard lip scrub product. ANOTHER APPRECIATED ASPECT I liked the chicness of the packaging. MY ADVICE FOR USE Make the lip scrub stand out more, there was no scent or flavoring or anything that gave it the wow factor. WHO I RECOMMEND IT TO Anyone.
