  Hi. I have now received my Tropea jersey and I am very pleased with it. The quality is excellent and it fits very well.   My delivery was fast (from Italy) 6 days total to New Hampshire USA. Quality seems excellent. They are slightly thinner than the Ibex wool riding bottoms I was hoping to get close to. This makes them more layerable but also less substantial.

  I love the wind Jersey. Very nicely made, great fit and quality. The delivery experience was good. Would get five stars only the original cost display said the price and shipping was free. When I moved on with the purchase it listed the shipping cost as €8.50 . I went on with the purchase but heads up to De Marchi I don’t need FedEx to deliver to me and a cheaper option would be a good idea to have as a choice.

  First I want to thank De Marchi for refunding my purchase. I asked for a refund because I was ‘short’ of their threshold for free shipping by €2.50. This was because I used a birthday gift coupon and it reduced the price to €127.50. I thought it was scandalous to not include the shipping with the ‘gift’ coupon. Consequently I will no longer support De Marchi products. A simple press of a key to’ ship free ‘wound have been nice, but they wanted €12 to send a half kilo package to Sanremo. They lost a customer. And any of my friends that use to buy from them as well.

  Good morning Robert, Thank you for your feedback. Our shipping policy is straightforward: orders over €130 qualify for free shipping. Your total, after using the birthday gift coupon, was €127.50, just short of the free shipping threshold. Choosing the 'pick-up in store' option and not showing up does not automatically entitle to free shipping. Shipping costs are a standard expense for every company, not an arbitrary charge. Waiving the fee on top of a discount isn't feasible for us. It’s genuinely disappointing that you chose to leave such a harsh review only based on a shipping fee, and even more so that you would discourage your friends from buying from us. However, we trust they will evaluate our reputation for quality and fairness independently. When using a ‘birthday gift’ coupon that reduced the price of a product and made it €2.50 under your free shipment guidelines is both ingenious and not business friendly.   The service of De Marchi is great. The delivery to Germany via FedEx is fast within 2-3 days. As I had a problem with the size of the jersey, there was a quick friendly response by De Marchi and instruction was given how I can send it back for an exchange. Very professional.   Everything was great the web site, ordering, the product and delivery but I am now being asked by Fed Ex to pay £44 import and tax duties. I was not informed by Demarchi that my order would attract extra duties and my order confirmation email states the tax is included.
