I eat unsweetened cacao for a snack and these are so much for flavorful than the organic chips I can find in the store. The bitterness is slight and enjoyable vs powerful and and hard to enjoy alone. I only give 4 stars because the Mystic Mushroom enhanced cacao is better.

The balance of spice against the richness is the cacao is absolutely perfect. The spice is a comfortable back-of-the-throat warmth rather than tongue-on-fire hot. It creates a beautiful cup of cacao that can be lightly sweetened if desires, and I find myself reaching for this when I need a quiet 10 minute break to recharge.

My sister recommended this cacao and I ordered the variety kit so I can find my favorites. They were all great, and I connected most with Connected Colombia :) it has a mild tasty flavor and I felt my heart opening with gratitude as I sipped it and well after I finished. I felt connected to myself and my spirituality. It was an experience I still think about! I also shared with my mom, and it was nice to enjoy such a potent drink with her.
