I really didn’t know what to expect, but this packet of goodness is great! By far my favorite flavor, to me it’s balanced, no strong taste one way or the other, perfection!

I have to be honest I’m very skeptical when I find something that sounds as good as this cacao. This company is doing something right. I would highly suggest making this cacao with milk (whichever strikes your fancy, I prefer oat milk) and some sweetener (raw cane sugar is my go-to) if you’re someone like me who isn’t super into the more earthy flavor of just straight cacao. Absolutely love the benefits this has given me. I wake up excited to have my own little ceremony, speaking intention into the cup and truly seeing the effect on my mood and outlook for the day. Thank you so much Ora Cacao, you have established a very loyal customer!

This cacao has so much to offer, long term it might compete towards being my new favorite! I did find the spirit it carried quite uplifting and full of energy, as advertised. Even just the very small dose I took the first time to try it out gave me a rise to carry on with my afternoon. Sometimes it is pure energy, sometimes it's just a positive spin on my mood like today. The flavor is indeed Very Fudgy like your favorite dark chocolate, with overtones of earth and a sort of seedy component I can't put my finger on. The color is interesting too, as even at lower doses it does seem to turn whatever liquid I'm making it with a shade darker than I anticipated. Really happy with this cacao, looking forward to drinking it more in the future. :-)

These beans were nicely roasted and have a earthy dry flavor like one might expect. They are a fun snack. I use them especially if I'm trying to calm a craving as the lack of sugar/sweet combined with the time it takes to peel can cut that a bit; Let alone if cacao's nutrient affects act fast enough to contribute. Speaking of the peeling though, that is my one star deduction, and I almost feel bad making it as I don't think there's much that can be done related. I discuss so others get a clear picture: I knew I was in for the peeling the shell off when I purchased, it's not a conceptual oversight. What I didn't know is that the shell is actually quite thin to try and separate, and the inner bean can crumble pretty easily. As such peeling without getting the shell and bean mixed up anyways can be quite challenging. It's not like cracking a nut like I originally had been imagining. I'll still get some nibs out of it though. Luckily Ora's great customer service confirmed for me that a couple little bits of shell aren't really toxic to worry about.

This cup has a very nice wooden feel to it, and is pretty light weight. The volume was indeed just about right for a ~4oz serving. The wood does get quite warm I will warn, though it might be slightly more insulating than one of the ceramics I've tried my Cacao with in the past. I also can somewhat confirm the durability, as I dropped mine a couple times by accident in the first couple days and it doesn't seem any worse for wear! (dropped empty luckily, lol) Mouth is just wide enough to make it reasonable to fit my fingers in to clean. Pretty happy with the product, though now I'll be torn as to using this or continuing my relationship with my old vessel, lol. Maybe I'll use them for specific Cacao's.

Just enjoyed my first cup of Uplifting Uganda and it is my new favorite! Rich and fudgy in the best possible way. Really feels like a warm, comforting hug in a cup. Really love it. Great addition, Ora!
