It had such a unique bite to it. I love just letting a wafer dissolve in my mouth. I also have the upmost respect for this cacao and Firefly for honoring a country that has seen so much turmoil over cacao by reviving happy farming practices and trade!

I very much enjoyed this cacao. It is a soft cacao and has a nice heart-opening effect. I am familiar with different plant medicines (Peruvian Amazon) and this cacao is gentle and yet very heart-directed. Thank you!

I ordered the sampler set to get a taste of the various cacao varieties. Product shipped quickly and arrived on time AND cooled by freezer packs so no melting or mess. Directions and add in suggestions are included. So easy! I have not had time to sample every cacao packet but those I have tasted were amazing... creamy (I make it with coconut milk), rich, and so full of flavor. Really not like any chocolate I have ever had - - in a good way! If you are curious about cacao, go ahead and just try it! Firefly Chocolate provides top notch service and chocolate bliss. I will definitely order again.

We first bought the sample pack as we wanted to experiment with the different opportunities of each style of cacao. I can tell you we do not have a favorite... we have LOTS of favorites. The sample pack is the way to go if you are not sure what you want. The cacao is smooth, rich and very delicious! No need for sweetening the drink. We enjoy the cacao as it comes and the instruction are easy to follow. The only concern we had was when the cacao was shipped. Firefly does do their best to offset any hot weather issues by putting an ice pack in the delivery. However, do to where we live in Northern California and several over 100 degree days a few of our sample packs melted. It did not effect the quality of the product just the looks so you may want to keep that in consideration when you order. I would suggest waiting for a cool down if you are in the summer months or ask for an additional ice pack. We have opted for the auto-ship program because we love the Firefly Cacao so much.
