Overall I'm really happy with this purchase. This was my first time experiencing ceremonial cacao and the included ritual and preparation instructions were very helpful. I was feeling tired and depressed both times I tried the chocolate and I instantly felt uplifted and energized. The rose flavor didn't come through as much as I had hoped. I tasted one of the discs unmelted and it tastes much more like rose than when drinking it. It is still delicious though. It's bitter, but with how rich it is, the bitterness is fine. I've been using the suggestion of 20 disks per serving since I don't have a kitchen scale and I've had five of these servings so far and it looks like there's probably only about two more servings of this size in the bag, which is a little disappointing because if one ounce is one serving, 16 ounces should make 16 servings.

I have been purchasing cacao powder for a few years, but saw the Ceremonial Cacao that Firefly was offering. After looking at pricing, I decided to go for the large bag as it is the best deal. I have found that I do indeed prefer this to the powdered cacao. Great news as I bought a big bag! I mix it with cinnamon, dandelion blend and honey. I may add some turmeric as well. Overall great experience and will look forward to trying some other flavors as well.

I finished my bag in two weeks ( drinking a cup every other day) and honestly could have probably drank more. It’s so delicious and makes me feel warm and happy. I will certainly buy the larger bag next.

The Medicinal Mushrooms cacao is heaven! I love cacao in general but this one is my new favorite. It's like drinking in the entire earth in one cup and I love it. The warmth this blend leaves in your body along with the medicinal and immune boosting properties of the mushrooms is pure bliss! Thank you Firefly for such an amazing product!

I first started using this ceremonial chocolate exactly one year ago and I'm grateful to say it was my best year yet in terms of results at work, fulfillment and peace, creativity, and my relationship with my wife. Chocolate wasn't the only reason for all of these things. I did TM (transcendental meditation) twice daily, worked out several days a week, ate healthy, and practiced letting things go, so that I could be in more fulfilled states than suffering states of mind. But drinking chocolate daily for the whole year added a huge gift to my life. It helped open my heart. It helped me access my gratitude more easily, and it made a huge difference with my creativity with writing my screenplay daily. After my TM, I drink my chocolate (now I use 10 discs, but I alternate between 5 and 15 depending on what I feel serves my body the best at that time) on an empty stomach and the creativity just flows much better with my writing. So because of all of these things, chocolate added to my most peaceful and fulfilling and also most productive year. don't only use Boundless Belize, I alternate between all of them because I love the variety. I love this chocolate so much that I gift it to my friends. My friend Alex's wife was feeling irritable one day. He made a cup of chocolate for her and within a few minutes, she was smiling and they had a great day together. It's the gift that keeps giving :)

This chocolate is smooth enough to drink without any sweetener. I used to add a little Lakanto monkfruit sweetener and a little vanilla extract and sea salt. Now I drink it without the sweetener and it's delicious. A great mood and energy booster!

I was curious about this bar. I only ordered one because I knew I loved the chocolate, but had never tried a bay nut. As soon as I tried it, I ordered more. Haha. I was kind enough to share with some people that I love. I’ve just logged on to order more of these and have found that they’re SOLD OUT! Eep. Now I know to order a bunch next year when they become available. LOVE.

When I learned about ceremonial cacao, I learned of Firefly. I was suer excited to find the sample pack and was even more excited to explore each flavor once the package arrived. Since then, I’ve been ordering the larger bags, but still will put some sample choices in my order to give to friends to try or if stock is out in an item. Brilliant. Love it!
