I love this sampler pack! Being able to learn about the different locations and aspects of the varieties of cacao while tasting and enjoying them really is helping me choose the varieties that I wish to work with further in the future. They really do have personalities as you enjoy the flavors and the experience you have during and after drinking them. I also appreciated the pamphlet sharing a simple ceremony idea, which has helped me construct my own ritual around my daily cacao. I will be returning for more for sure, and telling all my friends.

Ecuadorian cacao is earthy and grounding. I have found it to be quite lovely in the mornings and it gives me a sense of focus and purpose as I move into my work. I love that it is not sweetened and lets me savor all the flavorful notes present in the cacao. I think people who are comfortable with bitter flavors and don't consume much sugar will especially appreciate the depth of flavor without any need of adding sweeteners. I love this cacao!

I am trying all of the different varieties of cacao, and this time I ordered Thriving Tanzania. I love it. It has a wonderful flavor, without hardly any bitterness. I usually put 6-7 discs in my cacao, but with Thriving Tanzania, I put 9! The flavor is very chocolaty. I feel the zing as well. Medicinal Mushroom by far is the most potent, for me at least, but Thriving Tanzania's flavor is much creamier and less bitter. Score!

The Belize cacao discs are smooth, melt-in-your-mouth snacks. I keep a stack of them in my car. Not only do they heighten concentration capacity, they are also really good for your health.

...let me count the ways! Medicinal Mushroom has been my go-to for a few months now. It’s rich, earthy notes are a perfect way to start an early morning with the sunrise. I’ve given up coffee with cacao, and at nearly 40, coffee is a habit I’ve had since I was 16! I feel better physically and mentally, and incorporating this little bit of ritual into every day makes my before-work routine feel, well, less routine! Sometimes I drop a few disks of Mighty Maca to slightly sweeten it, or a disk or two of Tantric Rose for a floral twist. But pure Medicinal Mushroom, with no sweeteners or other anything else added, is my absolute favorite right now and fantastic for the changing seasons to keep me grounded.
